So I made a full spectrum rue extract months ago. Did a simple ethanol soak, 2 of them, combined, evaped to a goo and now I keep that covered. I made it for use in my changa.....call me lazy, disparage my lack of chemistry savy, but my changa is good medicine.

Taken internally for pharma is what I'm considering....will this extract have more or less of the tannnins/oils than well filtered tea?

Thank you.

I guess a more important question is oral dosage for this crude extract.

My best guess at this point is that 400 mgs will be plenty....possibly too much, so I might just play it safe and take only 300 to start. I might just take 300...wait to see how much I feel it, then decide if I want to up my dose a bit before following it up with some dmt in salt form.

edit....

Well, last nite I started out with 300 rue (encapsulated) 150 spice (freebase dissolved in oj). Redosed an hour and a half later with an additional 100 rue and 50 spice....still didn't quite get me there. I'll have to play with my ratios a bit and find my sweet spot.

When I make rue tea, I let it sit in the fridge for at least a month, and then decant, removing solids...well, it's early to say with confidence, but this ethanol extract seems to carry a lot less body load than my tea.
