Hello Nexus!
Just a brief introduction about myself.
My name is Ancotar.
I have a great interest in chemistry and science and am looking for expand my experiences once I can find some time (and money) to get back into school to pursue my interests!
Very recently, I was introduced to this magical substance lovingly referred to as spice. A friend of mine and I were curious about the nature of the substance and what all it would have to offer after seeing a documentary about it, so they went ahead and did an extraction using some mimosa root bark. They did a STB-style extraction and they produced a nice, golden yellow end-product, after all was weighed, he had about 0.7g's. He called me over a couple days after starting on his endeavor and let me know that everything was ready and if I wanted to try some with him, I was more than welcome. Excited and anxious all at the same time, I walked over to their house with absolutely NO clue what I was in for!
When I had gotten there, we sat in the entertainment room on the couch, and they proceeded to hand me a small metal pipe with some of these crystals poured out all over the top of a piece of cannabis. He laughed as they prepared everything and said "Kinda looks like yellow salt or something huh?" I laughed and replied "No, it actually kinda looks like crack or something!" We both laughed and had a couple of jokes before getting back on track, and once they were done preparing everything, they handed me the pipe with a lighter. It took me a good minute to get started and take the plunge. I was very nervous. Think of jumping off of a tall cliff for your very first time at the lake. I have done LSD, mushrooms, and peyote before and i never got this nervous feeling from those, but something was different about this. It almost was like there was a powerful energy surrounding it.
So without waiting too much longer, I finally lit the lighter, carefully melted/vaped the crystals inside the pipe, and inhaled as deep as I could and held it in as long as I could.
First notable feeling I felt when this happened is the air inside my lungs turned very "heavy" during the time I was holding it in. You could almost feel your body slowly absorbing this medicine. When I finally exhaled and let the smoke out into the air, that's when everything hit, BIG TIME! I was thrust into this world of geometry, shapes turning into shapes turning into shapes turning into shapes. And very a loud buzzing/humming took over and almost deafened me to the outside world, my friends voice was just but a murmur at this point. After a few moments of the geometric images, I came to be in this... place. I almost want to call it a room, but it had no walls, no ceiling, and I want to say it had no floor, but I was able to "find ground" if that makes any sense? Next thing I new, I was laying down, and a very warm feeling surrounded me. And then it felt like something was trying to push through the skin on my body from the inside out. It was almost painful, but not quite. After i analyzed for a second, I quickly began to realize that any feelings of anger, hate, dissappointment, loathing.... all of that... it was being purged from my being. I remember I went to ask what was going on, but I didn't even need to speak, I just thought it, and what I want to call a voice explained to me "This is poisonous..... just let it go."
After hearing that, things began to get back to normal. The visuals started to calm down and I slowly became adjusted back to "this world".
"Woooooooow....." was my only response to my friend. They had asked what I encountered and what happened, but I was at such a loss of words. I don't know what I was expecting, but holy cow, all expectations of my experience were thrown right out the window with lessons learned!
So now, I Have been surfing on the site for about a month now studying the Wiki and threads. I have done 5 extractions now using the STB method and with good results!
I know that new members here are encouraged to share a little bit about themselves, and since this is by far more than a "little", I hope I did not chase you all away with the length of my explanation. I hope to see you all around more! Thanks for having me!
