Garlic my love ... . . . . . .. . On a crisp cool late autum morning your story began. Placed beneath a layer of earth and apple leaf compost you sleep for the winter. With sping time rains come your vibrant green stalks, pushing up towards the sun. Your yellowing foliage wilting in the summer heat tells me you are ripe. Gently pulled from the grasp of mother earth, the wonderful scent of freshly turned soil. Dry in the summer sun. Your aroma so deliciously alluring. Flavor the food I eat and nourish my body. Garlic my love. Ice House attached the following image(s): DSCN1867.JPG (549kb) downloaded 245 time(s). DSCN1868.JPG (536kb) downloaded 244 time(s). DSCN1870.JPG (493kb) downloaded 245 time(s). Oh man! You've really got me motivated to want to start a garden. We were going to but we thought we had to move. By the time we found out we were staying it was too late =(. Anything we can plant right now that you could suggest? Or is it too late? "Energy flows where attention goes" [Please review the forum Wiki and FAQ before posting questions]

Anything we can plant right now that you could suggest? Or is it too late? It's never too late. I planted most of my garden 3 weeks ago only and am still planting stuff.. Lots of crops are fall crops and need to be planted at the end of summer. Kale, carrots and cabbage are just few. Lots of crops you can grow and harvest all winter long. You can plant bok choi and harvest within a few weeks. Plant some now it comes up real fast. Long live the unwoke.

Ice House Wow, truly a beautiful sight... There's almost nothing better than growing your own veggies. I'm busy growing bok choy, curly kale, curly cress, spider mustard, tomatoes, dry beans and wild rocket at the moment and i cant wait till harvest time. Much Peace and Kindness

Garlic is very good for you indeed, congrats on such a wonderful harvest. I love you. Death is an awakening. . . One day it will come. But you'll search the skies with your eyes in frantic wonder. You will come to realize the lies you've told yourself for so long to survive. "We fear something that does not exist." Not only does death not exist, we ourselves do not exist.
