Ive just completed a 100g mhrb stb extraction. I started off with a hot water tek.

I added boiling water to the finely ground mimosa then added the lye. Hdpe2 stands this treatment well.

I kept the solution in a roasting hot bath and done my first pull. Its yielded about 350mg.

Instead of adding hot naptha for the next pull which some people do i decided to top up the jug with boiling kettle water, about 100ml(guestimate) i added another 20g of lye , shake stirred, danced with it a while . Pulled that one and di the same another 2 times.

My first pull has yielded orangy brown dmt, the second pull looks like dmt n'oxide for some reason. I didn't think this was possible with napthta.

Anyhow ive decanted everything into two whiskey glasses including the gunk left by an sc wash on 3rd and fourth pull into a separate glass.

I precipitated 350mg from first pull before decanting napthta into new glass and let evaporate a bit. The 2nd pull i decanted napthta into same glass as firstbut im left with orange goo, smells lovely tho. I just hope it xtalises.

I'll find out tomorrow after everythings precipitated what the tally is.

Cleaned everything up and i'm left with some nice very strong smelling dmt. I haven't tested it yet but will be tomorrow.

I'm thinking the next time i do this tek i'll add the napthta once the mhrb solution has cooled to room temperature. I like using hot water for shredded bark, i think it breaks the bark down a bit better.
