Curious as to the difference between consuming pure crystal mescaline as opposed to a resin/tea from cactus. I have consumed whole powdered and iso alcohol extract resin in the past, but never did a true purified extraction. I did a STB with limonene, salted with vinegar, and got a full spectrum extract that seemed weak in comparison and ultimately i felt was a waste of product.

Is there much difference between? Cactus has never been a visual experience for me, only heavy body loads and slight visual disturbances (breathing, melting, slight tracers). Even higher doses fail to make for a truly visual experience. Ex - i soaked 100G of powder in alcohol, and ended up with 8G of resin. 3G of this while MAO inhibited failed to produce anything beyond slight visual effects, though it was still a great day!

The reason i ask is i recently started Re-x'ing my DMT for pharma, and the ultra pure spice has notably different effects on me. less mental mindfuckery, more visual, and an incredible body load.

people focus too much on visuals IMO..yes they can happen with cacti but it has never ever been my goal when I work with this medicine.

San pedro is a heart medicine. The heart requires no visuals to experience clarity and catharsis. We all love visions and they can be very beautiful and serve a purpose, but with cacti they are just not at the top of the list when it comes to what I seek.

That said, I have had intense hyerpspace visions on par with DMT with cacti on one occasion. Just depends on how much you eat I guess. Other aspects of the medicine are apparent long before the visions IME..it is not like ayahuasca or mushrooms with which the active dose and visionary dose are less far apart.

for a more visionary type experience I would give bridgeissi a try. I had same bridge tea and it was quite visual.
pure mescaline requires a really high dose to get good visuals IMO...

Visuals are a tricky thing, some people have a difficult time getting them....

My sugggestion is to concentrate on the CEV's in a nice quite space.

i have never had visions like i have with achuma, it has taken me further than smoked dmt ever has. on par with massive mushroom and aya doses, if not more.

imo your previous medicines have been impotent

mesc acetate is not full spectrum, its noticably different from alcohol extracts or teas. i prefer full spectrum to isolated alakloids for entheogenic use, but for recreational experiences i dont mind either
