hello, all. i have been contemplating this myself, and i was wondering what you guys consider to be the appropriate time to visit the spirits. personally, i haven't had an experience for about 9 months, i think, and i've been searching for the right place and time.

i've always felt that DMT was a very personal thing that is meant to be experienced in optimum conditions. i generally have always done it in my room as it is not easily done outside (even though i really want to be in nature when i do). to add to that, i feel that i need to be as comfortable as possible and have a space to trip out.

i guess what i'm trying to say is that i want to get back in touch with the spirits but i feel that it is such an event that i cannot figure out when it's really a good time. i have been wanting to experiment with different dosages because i only lately understood in my DMT usage that there are different levels one can achieve. i had always been blasting off but a friend showed me, through use of a small machine device, that you can smoke it socially and pass a bit around.

DMT has always presented me a life of its own and i tried for a short while to figure out what was going on. i gained some insight but it's still something that i've wondered about and have never really understood. what do you folks think?
You are me and I am you, I'll always be with you...

I know what you're going through: DMT is such a sacred tool that it seems improper to use it without the utmost respect. The other day, I thought it would be good to think of a question to ask the spirits the next time I smoke. I tossed out question after question because I felt that each one would be answered with something along the lines of "how dare you ask about something so insignificant". In the end, it's probably best to sit back and let the spirits show you what they know you want to see so deeply that even you are unaware of the desire. Another thing that you might want to consider is that you cannot remember what the DMT experience is really about anyway, and thus the sacredness that you are trying to preserve cannot be fully understood (and thus fully appreciated/respected) until you are once again immersed in hyperspace. That's assuming that you get the same sense of "holy crap how could I have forgotten THIS" that many of us experience when we smoke. But smoking DMT is a very personal experience, and you probably shouldn't do it until it feels right. I've forced myself to smoke before when I didn't really want to and, though it was a wonderful experience, something about its boundary conditions just felt wrong.
Every day I am thankful that I was introduced to psychedelic drugs.

yes, i agree. i have felt the same way, where i wanted to smoke but didn't feel %100 about it. i will admit that i usually feel anxious about it, which i don't want to, and i must try to ease myself into hyperspace. unfortunately i don't have any changa or anything to calm my nerves so maybe that's part of why i haven't smoked in so long.

i spent a lot of time learning and trying to figure out the best way to partake, and i just about discovered what works best for me. however, my butane lighter decided to crap out the last time i tried so i decided to take a break until everything was aligned. i really want to try some spirit sticks and use just a pinch to get a little elevated... i got so used to being shot out of a cannon that i had to prepare myself for such a journey.

you are right, the spirits will come to me when the time is right. it's better to not force these things, which i think i did a few times before i decided to take a break. DMT is pretty amazing...

To me, the experience is something that...more times than not...feels incredibly sacred. There's days where I feel as if I'm in this niche of reality where everything in my day from start to finish runs incredibly smooth and my mind feels incredibly "in the present". Something akin to realizing that there's something that's not "ME" that's witnessing behind these eyes. Something much.. much greater.

Now...I usually always feel this way,,but on certain days..I tend to feel this feeling on a much greater level. So those days are the days where I consider a journey. And usually for me...those days that I choose to partake always end up producing an incredibly intense experience.
