I have been following the nexus for some time now and decided I wanted to give something back to this wonderful community. Recently I modified my vg to a glass hybrid. After some trial and error I made a hybrid for less than tree dollar and found it was a very helpful modification. (I don’t have a gvg so I can't compare the two but reading the comparison thread I think it’s almost spot on) So I made a pictorial on how to transform your classic vg into a gvg. Hopefully a member with posting rights can post this (I made a pdf) in the right section I think the section smoking is the right place. all the best to every one, expandaneum Disclaimer: All Expandeum's notes, messages, postings, ideas, suggestions, concepts or other material submitted via this forum and or website are completely fictional and are not in any way based on real live experience.

"Expandaneum", welcome to the Nexus, and thanks for sharing your experiment with us! Thats quite something I really appreciate your manual. Would you have any suggestions of how to make the glass "tube" even longer? I am asking because I like the long tube on my GVG, and I also think it contributes to cooling down the vapours a bit...

Looks good! It's a nice way to finally see if the spice is evaporating with a classic VG. Thank you for sharing. Kind regards, The Traveler

Welcome to the Nexus!
Thanks for sharing!
Would you mind telling us a bit more about yourself? Whats your psychedelic experience? Did you try oral DMT too? What about extractions, what have you been playing around with, and any new plans for the future?
Be well!

That is very neat. Thanks for your contribution, keep up the good work! and btw, welcome to the nexus! Let the plants guide you, for they teach lessons beyond what we humans can offer. Distorted is our perception of reality, because reality is much more distorted than we could ever perceive it to be.

Ooooo! thanks for this warm welcome. So some more info about myself, I have been vaping spice for around a year and feel I'm still discovering more and more. For now I try to vape no more than a couple of times in a row and then pause for a week or two to integrate. next on my list is pharma and vapping in combination with maoi. next to spice i love good food, good coffee, hiking, building things and traveling. Before I have tried fusing multiple tubes together but for some reason they don't form a very strong bond. Once again thanks for all the positive reply's Expandaneum Disclaimer: All Expandeum's notes, messages, postings, ideas, suggestions, concepts or other material submitted via this forum and or website are completely fictional and are not in any way based on real live experience.

Sorry to revive such an old post, but this was something that I ran into as well.
I got the classic VG ( with the humps) as the GVG seemed a bit too big and I could get a regular one locally. I also wanted to see the vapors if and when they were moving, and since my other delivery methods were much to harsh for me I figured having a bit of extra length to cool down some vapor wouldn't hurt.
I still had some clear 1/2" or 3/4" clear plastic tubing laying around, just the stuff they have big rolls of at any home improvement store. I cut off about a foot long piece and it fit nice and snugly over the first hump passed the mouthpiece.
At first I saw a little bit of the vapor moving, but didn't taste anything yet.. Only when I saw just a bit of "fog" forming and a few little pinpricks of colder spots in the tube, once they started dancing I realized I was onto something. Only a few seconds later was I getting pretty interesting visuals too!
Also was a way for me to have the flame a little further away from my face and see onto the ceramic pad if I was heating it good!
