Hi everyone,

I got interested in this forum a while back. There is a wealth of knowledge here, and a focus on scientific and experience based research - I was a long time member of another forum where that was simply not the case. There, people were trying to turn a buck and convince people of all sorts of silly ways of altering consciousness. Here, I feel that people look out for each other and really want to get to the bottom of various new ideas.

I am primarily interested in essential oils. There was a member here for a long time trying to get people to use them as psychedelics, and that's how I came to this forum. I am interested in legal ways to use universally available substances for mind expansion. While I disagree with most of the "research" of this individual, who no longer posts here, he did turn me on to researching essential oils for such purposes.

I personally would like to start a section here, focusing on using spices and essential oils for such purposes. It would be great to get people involved who actually want to do the hard work of figuring this stuff out. There are a number of papers posted about spices and their uses in spiritual and healing practices in earlier times, and I think they can be a great starting point. I have ideas of how to get these things to work, but my ideas need to be validated.

Any mods that a worried about such a thread, because of old issues here, can PM me - I would be happy to share my experiences with you-know-who and his suppression of my research, and I would also love to explain my sincerity and enthusiasm on this subject.

Cheers!
