Hello from my corner of the world. Australia!

I'm not sure how to start an introduction on this topic but here we go..
I have used psychedelics on and off now for about 4 years, Mainly LSD and Psilocybin but never religiously. Unless its the start of winter and where I'm from magic mushrooms grow literally everywhere!
Anyway up until the start of 2011 I had never tried dmt. When I finnaly did it was defiantly a life changing experience for me and an eye opener of sorts. It reminded me what my imagination and mind was capable of, got me back into nature and learning about the world we live in and my place in it.
Scince then I've only smoked a few grams of crystal and changa.(mainly because I promised I wouldn't until I finished the spirit molecule book, but then couldn't find any when I did for quite a while)
And If you wish to read a trip report I have one in the "describe an entity" topic.
I think that dmt is a great tool for humanity to look inside ourselfs and be open for new ideas and descussion that arise from such experience and it shouldn't be hidden or frowned apon. I hope people use this site with a regard towards nature. And the dmt containing plant they wish to use.
I love learning and sharing my knowledge and I hope I can obsorb some of the great information floating around this forum.
I work full time but want to follow my dreams of becoming a park ranger so I can protect the beautiful environment I live in, and be outdoors with nature. Which is an opposite to where I am now.
I don't usually write on forums but hope you get the vibe of what I'm all about and hope to have a chat and share experiences with all of you!Smile

Peace.
Spice mind.

Hey myco thanks for the welcome!
Psilocybe subaeruginosa is the main sorce of psilocybin where I'm from.
I was verry lucky this year while hunting. I stumbled across a patch of thousands.. In a very sucluded place. This doesn't happen often tho!Smile
Pretty crazy when my first trip of the season was on 5! And I was blown away.
Do you get many magic mushys where your from?

Welcome to the nexus. great to read your intro. Im quite lucky to be in Cyan heaven here and we pick mushrooms each winter and a few of my close nexus brothers have a few private patches that keep us stocked for the whole year.

So if you dont mind me asking why did you promise to not smoke dmt until you finished Dr. Strassman's book? Did you enjoy the read?

Hey olympus mon!
That sounds cool. its good to have a community on here where you share like that. Its also always good to have a stock pile of mushys for all year round!! i also have enuf now after my last find. To share with all my friends down under!

And as for why i decided to have a break of smoking while reading Dr. Strassman's book? it is because a lot of spice was around at that time. i felt i needed abit of time to reflect on experiences and for a few other reasons. so i thought it would be a good time frame to step back.
Plus i knew by reading the book i would be more open to the experience in a way. The book itself was really enjoyable. it was set out well and i recommend it among others to people wanting to learn abit more about the could be's of the experience and some information on the entheogenic itself.
Speaking of books and mushrooms i also just finished a few terence mckenna books aswell.(the last being true hallucinations) interesting ideas..
Have you read The Spirit Molecule? and did you also like it? any thoughts or recommendations? i enjoy a good read.

peace.
