Hmmm.... Where to start...
Well I have been doing quiet a lot of reading, here and elsewhere on the net, mainly about DMT.
This wonderful site has definitely been the most informative I have found, although there are other good sources out there. I hadn't really considered registering here until I read
Street Value of DMT (AND WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EVER SELL DMT)I am a 2nd level initiate (Pampa Misayoq) in the Andean Tradition (essentially it is a path towards energetic mastery through the 4 elements - fire, air, earth and - my favourite - water). Ayahuasca is used as a ceremonial drug and is treated with the utmost respect. As such I am very happy to see that the community here is also respectful of the power of DMT, not only as a strong substance but also as - for want of a better word - spiritual tool.
I should mention I have yet to have the honor of taking DMT. Earlier this year the master (from Peru) who teaches the Andean Tradition in SA held an Ayahuasca ceremony which I was unable to partake in due to financial restrictions. My understanding is that this fee is to cover supply costs (around 20 people partook) and that of the ayahuasquero, the master. Energetically the master helps to facilitate the trip and focus it on people dealing with their patterns and conditioning that are no longer needed. Also it is my feeling that this price helps to deter those not ready for it, who don't even begin to fathom the power it holds. (I don't think, as many have said, you can truly comprehend till you have tried it). That said, I accept that I didn't have the money for it as I was not ready for it. Had I been ready, the money would have been available.
It was only after watching "DMT: The Spirit Molecule" that I came to learn DMT is the "psychoactive" (please correct me if this is the wrong term) in Ayahuasca. That got the snow ball rolling towards this very moment, me typing this introduction. That was a month or two ago.
I started reading the TEKs and experiences, started looking for all the supplies. At first I was looking for a live plant. As some have said in the street value thread, doing the extraction is part of being (closer to) ready and worthy. I agree with that sentiment completely, this is why I have been looking for a live plant to grow myself.
I have also studied Reiki Jin Kei Do and Buddho EnerSense. From that I understand that we contribute energy into everything we do. As such growing and preparing your own DMT invests your energy into the experience, in a manner of saying, "pays" for the experience.
I have, unfortunately, been unable to find a live plant but I will keep looking. In the mean time I have found a local source for MHRB even if it is a bit pricey. Although, they are currently out of stock. This does not phase me. All the pieces (supplies and extraction) will fit together when the time is right for me, no sooner and not a moment later.
This supplier also has salvia divinorum (in stock), and from what I have read, I further believe that I should start there.
Today I should also be getting some LSD. I have had LSD around 4 times so far. I have smoked weed for the last 7 years and primarily use it for accessing my subconscious and enhancing meditations. I have had mushrooms twice with no real visuals.
One of the most profound experience I have had came from a particularly strong acid trip around 2 years ago, I can still see it as if it was yesterday, I saw myself as a giant cosmic cloud of beauty, intelligence and wisdom. It felt as if, as this cosmic being, I had been watching human kind since the beginning of time. I knew their language, how they interacted, but had never used it. I was a lone cosmic being, observing the universe in all its splendor. I had taken it with my girlfriend at the time. During the trip we stopped talking/interacting. When we started again, still as this cosmic being, it was strange to me. Trying to communicate and interact with what I perceived as another cosmic being much like myself. I recall thinking of things to "say", to share, but was unable at first to externalise it.
Yesterday I also started taking Magnesium Chloride, Cod Liver Oil and Apple Cider Vinegar pills to decalcify my pineal gland.
Hmmm.... I have kind of gotten carried away and perhaps jumbled this all up a bit.
I look forward to getting to know this community and DMT better.
P.S. I have no fear of psychedelics, but I do have respect for the power they hold.
