Hello,
I am a young man, in college and lost as i have every been yet fine in being lost. I guess that since this is a forum about psychedelic drugs, I will tell about my infinity for them. It started since I was pretty young. I remember hearing about the original hippies and how their focus was peace. This was amazing to me! What?! people can be peaceful, loving, caring, sharing, and happy. To me this was against the norm. This was a destruction of my idea of the way people are. I love the idea being human sharing giving, one of the biggest aspects that I fell in love with was the diggers, how everyday they would provide lunch in the park. So looking at what was the basis, it was LSD combined with the social atmosphere. How can one drop change the precipitation of a generation. This was also at a point in my life that I was getting into the new generation of wanna be hippies the ravers. It was a combo of looking for peace and trying to find where humanity went. Pretty much since then I wanted to see what it was all about. My infinity really started with forums reading for hours days weeks on ewroid and others about everything that could expand my consciousnesses, And moving to having the experiences for myself. So far these experiences have been the ones that I wouldn't trade for anything.

I hear ya on humanity of these days. I like being a helper. A giving person. But when ya give and they just take advantage of you, it gets old and hurts.
But, as long as i know i'm doing the right thing for me and karma !

The more that you give , the more it will take.
Beyond the thin line, you really can't fake.
Peace, love and happiness !

Hello "breedr" and welcome to the Nexus! I think that many people here can relate to your thinking about the power that psychedelics have in changing our perception of reality/society/ourselves.

Nevertheless, I personally don´t think that any kind of drugs (including the most sacred entheogens) can - by themselves - actually make the world a better place. Psychedelics can offer a novel, unexpected and spiritual perspective on the world and our place in it. However, in the end, it is always particular people who make practical and political decisions, and who organize their affairs in particular ways.

(EDIT: Accidently I posted the same post twice. I deleted the one below, sorry for messing up the thread...)

Welcome breedr.

It is only through being lost that we can find who we truly are. My experiences with psychedelics have proved to be a useful in finding myself by removing the limiting beliefs and view points I have been conditioned with through society.

Love and peace, doing the right thing for yourself are the only things that really matter, IMO.

If you know of any South African Suppliers please consider adding them here

I completely agree drugs of any kind are not the answer to the problem. The drugs help tear down the barriers of society, and can help in viewing the world from an outside perspective. In the end it must be the individual that seeks and finds the answers to the problems.

I also have noticed that People are going to take everything that they can get.
