greetings, dmt-nexus. i've lurked here for a while and only now realize that i cannot post without being promoted first! thanks to the research i did on here and shroomery, i recently accomplished my first extraction (STB with MHRB.)

i tried smoking a couple times with the very first extraction, but only experienced light effects (probably due to using a small weed pipe and not enough dimitri.) last night, i had a good amount dried and i smoked it out of a small bong, and broke through. it was incredible. i have so many new questions about better extraction methods and i can't wait to explore this spirit molecule more.

one of the more interesting things about the trip was this snaky train of thought that i recognized from an intense mushroom trip. (it was 8g cracker dry lemon-tek and i had been cultivating shrooms and tripping for a couple years.) during that shroom trip, i ended up going to a stressful, chaotic, crazy state of mind. i thought i had lost it and gone too far, something i never thought i would be silly enough to think, even on a high dose of psychedelics. that trip gave me a new respect for psychs as a tool for opening the mind, and also did me a lot of good. i know now that all i needed was a trip-sitter for an anchor to reality - which i had during this dmt experience.

so with all these things in mind, i ventured once again into the outer space of consciousness. my girlfriend wished me luck on my journey and went into the other room. i closed the door, turned off the lights, stripped, lit three candles around a buddha figure, and made myself comfortable in front of my shrine. i meditated for a few minutes, and hit my bong as hard as i could and then held my breath until i remembered to breathe again. at that point, i was in a whole new place. it was like a geometric space made of red and yellow light. there was a 'ceiling' of a red grid, and a 'floor' of a yellow glowing grid. i was sitting in front of a deep red shadowy life-size figure of buddha. he was transferring a vast amount of information from his brow chakra area to mine.

the snaky train of thought came back, and i was in a similar space as before on the 8g trip, very intense. this time, i was more of an impartial observer, so i did not let it overtake me with anxiety and fear of losing my mind, but there were the same nonsense words going through my head. one of them was 'unzillyzopped' which basically means crazy. i am very interested in learning more about this language and it's meaning.

i am very excited about exploring a new psychedelic and being part of a community which shares a similar respect and awe of the spirit molecule. i have many questions, thoughts and theories that i can't wait to explore further...thanks for reading.

DMT truly blows other psychs out of the water and is a step into the unknown. The amount of information and experience it imparts is staggering and definitely requires diligence on your own part in integrating the experience. Looks like your in the right place to continue your journey.
In the province of the mind what one believes to be true, either is true or becomes true within certain limits. These limits are to be found experimentally and experientially. When so found these limits turn out to be further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind there are no limits. However, in the province of the body there are definite limits not to be transcended.-J.C. Lilly

The amazing thing is that I know that was only a tiny glimpse of what DMT can show me...I just can't stop being in awe of it and talking to everyone about it and the experience. This is the substance I've been waiting to find. Mostly, I can't believe it's so easy to extract from so many plants.

let's see, mimosa, acacia, phalaris....what else you got?

If you know of any other plant sources...do tell.

And welcome to the DMT nexus....glad you enjoyed your first few journeys...

Welcome to the beginning of the long and winding road...

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

^ i just meant that it's cool that it's found in so many plants and animals, i'm sure there aren't nearly as many easily extractable sources.

but htanks for the welcome.
