Hysterical anti-gun nonsense aside...
Those of you who do own guns, what's your practice when using psychedelics?
For myself, with a young family, going camping alone is a great way to get some space to trip. But I also like to hunt, and don't get enough opportunities, so a camping opportunity is a good hunting opportunity, too. But -- is it wise to be taking a psychedelic alone, in an isolated location, with guns and ammo fairly readily accessible? Up to this point I have decided not to.
When I trip at home, there are plenty of opportunities for harm, too... even if I did not have firearms there are knives, chainsaws, cars, electricity and water, medicines... I don't worry about these - should I worry about readily accessible firearms? Not so sure there is much difference. Nevertheless I have avoided it thus far.

r2pi, what if you put the gun far away from you when tripping? Like a far walk, up in a tree, with a chain somewhere, bullets far away, or something?

Story *may* not be totally bs. It is entirely possible to eat mushrooms, go to sleep, wake up tripping. Yes, it is very confusing at first. Or Eating mushrooms, after the rush laying down and going into a trance state that is somewhat like sleep. "We're selling more than a cracker here," Krijak said. "We're selling the salty, unctuous illusion of happiness."

i find this story to be feasible, to the kid it was a nightmare, he didnt analyze his brainwaves to scientficaly deduce he was asleep. he felt like he went to sleep and never woke up.
the kid felt like he was trapped in his house, seems pretty common precursor to freaking out

No, people tend to use MDMA as a crutch, and it can it get to a point where ASAP users, who use it every time their tolerance drops which is about 6 days, need to use MDMA to feel happy. It gets to a point where the user believes that they cannot be happy unless they are on MDMA. Weed can also do this as well, but the number of individuals in the situation in which an individual needs weed or they will feel bad is a much smaller number. Most potheads can just quit cold turkey, while most constant MDMA users would have an issue going longer periods without it. This has been my experience as well, I've never done MDMA and don't plan to, but I have friends who will do MDMA every time their tolerance goes away and they can't wait to do it again, and they will even skip work/do MDMA instead of other much needed tasks/activities. oh, but how can that be, especially if we're going to ignore that MDMA is neurotoxic? a crutch you say? very easy to get into an MDMA habit, seeking that rush. by then, you've already downregulated serotonin receptors. I've seen "e-tards" burn out as easily as methheads; they're forgetful, unhappy, and restless. perhaps the receptor dampening is to blame so the user needs MDMA to get the same feeling that they once had (this theory implies physical addiction). Another factor we must remember about MDMA is that it's an illicit popular street drug. This means that it's not pure, I ran a chemical analysis on a friends MDMA pills and found that 2/3 of the tablets had some other chemical, and the 3rd which was powder was Chrystal meth, and this could influence the results that are experienced by users who are really taking meth. Bottom line: DMT, LSD, Shrooms are not addictive drugs, and they have a very very low psychological addiction factor, or in the case of DMT/shrooms, have NO psych addictive potential. agreed the neurotoxicity factor can be attributed to MDMA alone, but adding meth to it does nothing but compound the problem, particularly on NAcc D1. That makes 2 of us. But I tend to disagree with the sports. Look at boxing champ Pacquiao. In his last game he had more hits and higher score and the judges picked the one with the lower score. Maybe to make a rematch?$?$ Media feeds off of us for money. Bend and warp things to make them seem exciting or interesting. It's a trick. The stuff definitely happens when people who aren't really making a 100% educated choice to take psychedelics just eat multiple grams of shrooms or take lots of L thinking it'll be better that way.
It even happened to a kid on my HS, he took too much acid and freaked out and shot himself to end it, very sad.
