SWIM has recently extracted some DMT.This will be his first time on DMT and he is very excited to explore the depths of his mind. SWIM currently is in school and still lives at home.
What is the behavior of someone under the influence of DMT? From what he can find people tend to lay as if in a trance. Is this normally the case? As he will most likely be taking this
in the late evening after his parents have gone to bed he cant risk being loud.Do people ever walk around and scream/laugh hysterically as on salvia? Or do people tend to just lie there quietly for the ten or so minutes? (Also i wont have a sitter so i dont want to wander around like on salvia and hurt myself.) Also on a side-note i will be smoking through a bubbler using the "parsley sandwich" method. Is this an efficient method? Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thumbs up

If there is any chance at all of being caught by your parents or anybody else who would have a problem with it then I would highly reccomend waiting for a better time/place to arise.

As far as behavior, I have heard stories of people yelling/talking loudly while under the influence of dmt. I personally have not experienced this, but I suppose everybody is different so you cant be to sure. You probably won't be up running around tho.

I would say wait till your parents are gone, or at least if your room is far, in case you make some noise, you don't want your parents asking what's going on while you just came back to earth trying to recollect what the fcuk just happened.

Wait. I've seen people laugh/cry hysterically. Wait until there is no one around. Turn off your phone etc. Or find somewhere else to do it. Worrying about getting caught may color the experience in a very negative way.

anything is possible , don't do it in your house with anybody around especially family.

I never do it in my house even when i can. too many distracting and associations around to effect a trip.

go to a neutral safe place in nature if possible as far away from anybody as possible.

MY friend did it once with headphones on listening to some binaural beats I think it was.

Anyway, while deeply immerced in an extended trip he realized once he started coming out that he'd been screaming at the top of his lungs the whole time. luckily he was in a remote lake cabin he still wonders to this day if anyone heard him.

I can safely say from my own experience that there is nothing worse than being jarred out of a spice trip
by something or someone. Its not worth the slightest risk in my book .

do yourself a favor find as perfect a setting as you can.

I personally would not take it if there was a chance that I may be interrupted. Wait for a better time. It really isn't worth the risk of being disturbed, especially by your parents.

I'm with the posters above me, but before you decide to smoke in your bedroom while your parents are asleep, ask yourself the follow questions:

Would I feel completely relaxed and comfortable so that it would not influence the trip?
(Telling yourself that you are while you feel uncomfortable does not help. Resistance is futile. Any doubts or fears will haunt you in your trip.)

Would there be consequences if caught and what kind of consequences would that be?
(You know your parents, I'm just some stranger from the internet but some parents throw their kids onto the street, disown them, cry uncontrollably, beat them or punish them in ways unnecessary. Don't underestimate their response.)

Am I prepared to deal with these consequences?

I understand you might be excited to try your spice, but you're also still young. You will have plenty of time. Wait for a beautiful day to go out in nature. Perhaps you have a best friend you want to share the experience with, it will certainly add to the experience. Smoalking in the shadow cast by a very old and big tree out in nature will certainly empower your trip in a positive way.

Absolutely! Any place where you know you won't be disturbed by other humans is great. Sharing it with a friend is a totally optional but in my eyes advisable idea. Your friend can catch the pipe when you fall into the DMT trance and make sure that if in the extremely unlikely case you are disturbed things won't ruin your trip.

You can go alone, many people, including myself, prefer to take the spice alone. I've shared it with both others and traveled alone, both give their own unique and distinct character to the trip but can be learned from.

I would say that while living under your parents' roof, you should try and abide by their rules. If you're still in school, my guess is that you are under 18, and that means you can't be here.

DMT has made myself and others scream pretty damn loudly in absolute terror.

Just saying.

You could always ask your parents to sit for you. If you'd be comfortable with that.

Over half my dmt trips I laughed outloud. I dosed a friend of mine and his second trip he laughed LOUDLY and for almost the entire 4 minutes. Loud enough that if people were sleeping elsewhere in the house they would have been awakened.

I usually just sit there with eyes closed, immersed in trance. Sometimes my jaw is dropped in awe, sometimes I am smiling gratefully when I feel as if divinity is gracing me. I am pretty relaxed when I smoalk. I think the worst thing you can do is get up and try to walk around while still very immersed in hyperspace, other than that none of us can really predict how you will react.
“The most compelling insight of that day was that this awesome recall had been brought about by a fraction of a gram of a white solid, but that in no way whatsoever could it be argued that these memories had been contained within the white solid. Everything I had recognized came from the depths of my memory and my psyche. I understood that our entire universe is contained in the mind and the spirit. We may choose not to find access to it, we may even deny its existence, but it is indeed there inside us, and there are chemicals that can catalyze its availability.”

This is all made up but... I have (almost) always had an option when completely absorbed in an experience as far as making sound or actions, physically though I am in control. But sometimes it is so terrebly important that I do make noise or go into odd postures that it would bother me if I had not done so. The other night (btw I almost exclusevely use changa) I had a lump in my throat that seemed to want me to express OM. I did, out loud.
