I have heard that drug addict patient recovered using Ayahuasca. I was wondering if it can work for cocaine/ meth addicts.

I seen a documentary about the santo daime in Amsterdam, a lot of Ex heroin and cocaine addicts were there and had got clean through it. I don't see why it couldn't bring around dramatic change but it's ultimately down to the user. Even with Iboga some people relapse and use iboga a second and third time, it's well known for resetting brain chemistry, but the choice is still their to continue or not. I bet dmt could have the same effect on some people but it's very fast and can be as quickly forgotton.

In my darker days long ago I did indeed experiment with Crystal Meth, I have also tried heroin and freebased cocaine, but I must say that compared to a real powerful psychedelic experience well.....

There is no comparison

I ultimately chose to stop using all non psychedelic drug compounds because I saw that they were doing me no real good in life, for me they were not helping me to accomplish anything but self destruction.

Here is a video you may find interesting about the Takawasi treatment center that uses Ayahuasca to treat addiction...

Not saying Ayahuasca is better than Iboga they are both very effective addiction treatments.

And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph
