When I was young and once I became intelligent enough to interpret the world around me, I had discovered a simple yet exhausting burden of truth. A weight that has been difficult for me to carry and yet I am obliged to do so. Through much trial and error I had discovered that the only real aspiration one could strive for was the collection and communication of knowledge.
Growing up in a middle class family where the best thing we could accomplish was keeping the lights on, I learned the hard way that everything you own, inside the physical realm, can be taken away in a split-second. One's very sense of security is in constant monopoly; strewn among thousands of people's checkbooks and controlled constantly by someone or some-odd-number-of-people, thousands of miles away and in every direction. I realized this simple truth much too late, for my new-found sense of adventure and insatiable thirst to know came on only recently.
I was very fortunate to have met a great friend of mine, a "stoner" character in societal terms. He had introduced me to the "loving arms of Mary" and had opened me up to a mystical and esoteric view of reality. From him my interest sparked and set a wildfire, consuming all the information I could possibly collect from thinkers, writers, scientists and professors from all fields. Great men such as Carl Sagan, Paul Stamets, Terence and Dennis McKenna, Timothy Leary, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Niel DeGrasse Tyson, and many, many more. Through him I gained a view of Shamanism. Since I had escaped from my cage of closed-mindedness, I have expanded my database fervently and have learned so very much.
Just recently, I have learned of the process of extracting the most powerfully psychoactive alkaloid known to me as... DMT. Most of my time has been consumed learning about this procedure and I have recently thrown some chips in and am getting ready for the extraction personally. "What wonderful truths will be divulged before my eyes." At least that is the extent of my prophetic inquiry. I am generally excited but wary, for this is a path less traveled and I am eager to make my mark.
In conclusion, I feel that interacting with and communicating with individuals that hopefully share the same thirst for and respect for knowledge, as I do, will aide me in my journey through psychedelic introspection. Peace.
"We have been to the moon, we have charted the depths of the ocean and the heart of the atom, but we have a fear of looking inward to ourselves because we sense that is where all the contradictions flow together."

Welcome! Good luck with your first extraction, it's an incredibly rewarding experience in more ways than one.
