Hello everybody

im a beginner and about a month ago i purchased already established plants (Phalaris Arundinacea green, Clea zacatechichi and Banistereopsis).

1. now the Phalaris and the Clea have been growing bigger but last night i noticed little worms in the soil is there anything i need to do for this?

2. do i need to be feeding the plants any nutrients or anything?

3. where you see brown spots at the edge of leaves where they have curled up n look dead should those spots be cut off from the leaf?

4. The phalaris is growing very tall and the leavs keep falling down on them self and breaking and eventually dieing , should i take it out the pot and place it deeper in the soil so it has more stability?

5. When do i know the Phalaris is old enough for me to make my first attempt of DMT extraction? and from where do i cut the plant?

P.S i know it looks like a dodgy set up as i wanted to put something so the leaves can stand up straight and the sticky side of the sticky tape isnt touching the plant as the sticky side of the tape is covered by sticky tape so both sticky sides touch eachother.

some wind will help the plant develop stronger leaf sheaths.
ever since i moved my plants outside (its windy as hell[the biblical hell is extremely windy] here) they stopped doing it.

also you generally only harvest the leaf blade.
it will be a while (i don't know how long exactly, because i started with bigger plants than you) before its big enough, try and get it outside so it has room to spread.

Hey, good on growing your own plants!

Fist of all, what kind of worms are you talking about? If they are earthworms then they are fine, actually good for your plant. Secondly you should probably get some fertilizer, I like fish fertilizer although it smells so if they are indoors be careful of that. Also you should probably keep your grass outside in a cool spot depending on your location, it will probably grow better in natural light and grass is usually pretty hardy.

You may want to bury your grass a little deeper but only enough to cover up the brown at the base, I'm not sure why it would be falling over and breaking unless it is too stretched. You are also going to need a LOT of grass to get anything from it, one planter won't be enough. You may want to harvest the grass late summer I believe thats when the alkaloids are highest.

Don't worry about the brown tips just leave them on. Brown tips are not normal though and you probably need to trouble shoot that. Usually it is a nutrient problem or could be a water issue.

Good luck! Just watch your plants, they will tell you what they need.

i have a fan facing the plants from distance of 1.5 meters which gently moves the leaves.

the worms i say are tiny ones which seem to have legs didnt look like the typical pinkish earth worms.

also seeds are starting to appear around the pot. should i bury them in the soil in the same pot?
