I've read this book so many times and I still find it interesting. The whole christmas being a kind of healing entheogenic holiday fits in with siberian shamanism so well it's kind of eerie. I find the search for a SOMA plant god/admixture an endless conundrum. Padmasambhava seems to be a very powerful shaman of some kind and the way the author makes links between the tibetan prayer flag colors and the admixture are fascinating. Red being the amanita, Blue the psilocybin, Yellow the syrian rue, White the opium to help one withstand the experience, and Green representing the wealth of plants that contain DMT.

I know there are others who know more about this then me, and i would love to hear what others think of this work. The 2 photos I attatched are Adam and Eve eating from the tree of knowledge/life, and Jesus as the lord of magical plants. Please if anyone knows more about this weigh in I would love to hear them. Is this the modern crucifixtion? refering to the last photo.

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

the pharmacratic inquisition video has a lot of good info on the affect on christianity from both the amanita muscaria and astro-theology. also when they talked about the definition of the word "manna" i couldn't help but laugh out loud, so thats a plus Very happy

also also if you like this stuff, you would probably find graham hancock's work on moses and the old testament pretty fascinating too.

also also also obligatory fresco representation of an amanita mushroom-tree (apparently a surprisingly common motif in christian art for some "unkown" reason[that is, mushroom-trees in general, not just amanitas, though amanitas DO need trees to 'fruit'])

Gnostic Media also put out a movie called "the pharmacratic inquisition", that is a study of art, symbols and celebratory inebriation that is very interesting check it out if you've never seen it.

Amanitas need conifers and they do grow under white birch in europe, but the whole christmas tree took on such a greater meaning after realizing why I was putting one in my house. Then the phoenix, the burning bush, it's so astounding when you find out where things originate, and the whole gospel is literally written in the stars. Astrotheology Shamanism and The greatest story ever told is literally written in the stars. On the last winter solstice I viewed the longest night and it really had a profound affect on me. I felt reborn and a deep feeling of understanding. It all cascades into one thing, love is all you need.Love

Has anyone tried Amanita Muscaria?
Was it pleasant, or atleast revealing?
Is there a way to extract the muscimol?
I love all of you!

i have tried it, and like most people only got a mild buzz similar to drunkeness.
but as you know, "those who drink, and do not drink agan, do not know what it means to drink".

but i have yet to try the hindu technique of soma pavamana as described here.

so i well let you know once the amanitas start growing (depending on when it starts raining up here, anywhere from a couple weeks to a month and a half or so from now.)

this will be only my second amanita season up here, and last time i wasted all of mine by freezing them fresh, and i didn't know all the good spots (more mushrooms than you can carry)

so i am looking forward to this season.

if nothing else, i figure it would make a great admixture for some combinations.

Great Link!!! Thanks, You probably know that gnostic media published John Marco Allegro's "The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross", the links between manna, and mushroom seem so obvious once you have the experience, and the doctrine of transubstantiation is a front to keep us away from direct access to the higher more divine prescence.
I love all of you!
