I recently took a walk through the wood of east texas and found a strange tree resembleing acacia family, it always seems to grow near streams almost in the stream with shade cover. it has a wonderful smelling flower when the pistils come out( the flowers without pistils don't smell) it leaves are broad unlike the mimosa family.
