60 mg. Over the course of 30min I was in hyperspace. So I took small hits to get acclimated. Then took off. It was the same place I've always been, swirling colors and sounds and patterns like it was a multidimensional casino. I asked "why a casino? This isn't real." Then the carrier wave went silent. The shapes stopped shifting, went 2d, and folded up, the carnies packed up hyperspace. Then disappeared, since they were not real. I thought, wow I'm an only child who grew up with too active of an imagination. I was sobering up really fast. I knew then bill hicks was right, we are consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. I took another huge toke and nothing happened. I'm just a meat puppet that is there to entertain consciousness itself. But on a positive note it showed how powerful our imagination is, it can do anything we really believe in. Dmt is just a tool to unlock our imagination. Nothing more. Well, y'know, it's like this experience that I had was like, y'know, erm, it was kind of the most profound experience I've had in me life, like

I'm glad you are so certain. So this is based on your single experience? I know the imagination/brain is infinitely complex but somehow talking with certainty about the true nature or function of DMT is tough one... There are times though when you can control the experience like you described.

I always thought that if you smoalk DMT within your DMT breakthrough, you might break the hyperspace. "The Menu is Not The Meal." - Alan Watts

I'm not trying to say that I know hyperspace either but I sort of feel like what I have witnessed on heavy DMT experiences is way beyond what my subconscious could produce even in it's wildest moments.. When I took high dosage IV injections it definitely felt to me like what I was seeing was a completely objective external reality but that is just my opinion, nothing more. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

Dmt is just a tool to unlock our imagination. Nothing more. This may be true, but it would mean that our imaginations are truly limitless ,IMO. I wouldnt necessarily agree that this is the case because the experiences, certainly with the larger doses taken in one breath, easily exceed the limits of my imagination, or even my imaginations imagination. This compound has depths which are not accessed by most users and this is no bad thing. But on the rare occasions I venture this far, Im always left with a renewed respect for DMT and an invigorated feeling which reflects the virgin wonders of the journey to that same nothingness, across a vista thats completely new to me.Experientially, the places it can take me are kind of external to me, and not of my 'imaginings'.Effectively real, to all intents and purposes. DMT definitely goes way beyond my imagination.....but not very often! Maybe my imaginations just a bit useless! I am paranoid of my brain. It thinks all the time, even when I'm asleep. My thoughts assail me. Murderous lechers they are. Thought is the assassin of thought. Like a man stabbing himself with one hand while the other hand tries to stop the blade. Like an explosion that destroys the detonator. I am paranoid of my brain. It makes me unsettled and ill at ease. Makes me chase my tail, freezes my eyes and shuts me down. Watches me. Eats my head. It destroys me.

No matter what I believe someone on the nexus will be quick to argue semantics and /orkeep on like this like they are going to change someone else's mind. I will say that it does show the potential of the imagination. I do still believe that the mind does affect what we call the real world. This new perspective on the molecule will change what intent I follow when experimenting. I think the imagination is limitless, can you imagine what life will be like in 100,000 years? No. But most likely it will happen and it will probably be nothing like you tried to imagine and it will be filled with the things that come from peoples imaginations. The imagination is infinite and it seems that from time to time we are able to peer into it and take things out to manifest into reality. Personally I feel that hyperspace and my imagination are very similar, not saying that I normally imagine crazy stuff like you would see in hyperspace but that they are somehow made up of the same substance, hyperspace is just a billion times more detailed. On low doses I feel as if DMT is just an extension or light in the darkness of my normal imagination. I have seen some things that I felt could never have come from my imagination but who is to say that the imagination is ours? Maybe it is a shared realm that everyone can access. It is an actual separate place and not just in the mind? Just my thoughts 'Little spider weaves a wispy web, stumblin' through the woods it catches to my head. She crawls behind my ear and whispers secrets. Dragonfly whiz by and sings now teach it.'

This is what I am saying, the act of imagining is like opening the flood gates to allow "imaginations" to flow into your brain and be further analyzed. The imaginations were always there, you just have to access them. When I take a low dose of changa I will have OEV's but no CEV's, until I keep my eyes closed and go into imagination mode. Then I start having CEV's and it feels exactly like my normal imagination just way more intricate and detailed. 'Little spider weaves a wispy web, stumblin' through the woods it catches to my head. By believing in magic on its own (it must be a full moon with 3 candles or else), or levels one has to reach to do certain things is too submissive for me. People are so quick to think they have to earn things, suffer long and hard to get what they want. I believe everyone has an equal opportunity to shape their own world. When they want. Were all just too busy telling everyone else, "no you can't do that, that's not possible, you can't prove it." I don't care what they say. This is my world. I don't have anything to prove. I'm too busy doing the impossible to waste my time trying to change anyone, they have their minds made up anyway. Not really sure I understand what you are getting at... 'Little spider weaves a wispy web, stumblin' through the woods it catches to my head. She crawls behind my ear and whispers secrets. Dragonfly whiz by and sings now teach it.'

Just a quick thought. Being a self aware conscious being, is it possible to be self aware without an imagination? Isn't thinking in itself imagination? Well, y'know, it's like this experience that I had was like, y'know, erm, it was kind of the most profound experience I've had in me life, like

archaic_architect wrote:Not really sure I understand what you are getting at... Me either. Uh, well I was in a hurry at the time. There's always gonna be someone trying to piss in your cheerios. No matter what you believe. It happens here daily. We grow up having our imaginations used against us. God, the government, rules, regulations, do what your told is right or else...its all about control. Which I think was geared towards imagination. It's difficult to believe in something unexplainable because our minds have been shaped by people of science and faith. The bible is commonplace, stories of talking to god are ok to believe, but nowadays you'd be mentally unfit to say you talk to god. Science often is based on hard facts and evidence, if you can't prove an idea, you just are wrong. You aren't allowed an opinion here without being asked for proof half the time. Anywhere you look people are being told they are wrong. People say, "bring back something from hyperspace then well believe you." No they won't. That's a lie, they may not know it yet. If you did, they would call you a liar. I say it may be all in your head, and people still get indignant about not wanting hyperspace to be that way. Has anyone else tried questioning hyperspace? Have you controlled your own trip? If I can use dmt to control my imagination, then that's progress. I can't sleep without depressants. I can't turn my brain off. So if I can learn to control my brain, I can train it to undo a life of "no's", and unleash the potential of myself. To be in a sense like a child again. To believe that anything is truly possible and unlock the doors others have placed in my mind. Well, y'know, it's like this experience that I had was like, y'know, erm, it was kind of the most profound experience I've had in me life, like

no matter all the theories I had about DMT it always boils down to square one, the most powerful psychedelic tool used for healing, traveling, as well as the unexplainable. Seems the more I know the less, which is good. Its in your head
