hey everyone! I'm wondering if anyone knows in what way breaking your barrier changes your perception. every since last year on my birthday, from the time I opened my eyes from my trip, I felt like I saw everything differently. things that use to matter to me didn't anymore, I started seeing a different side to the people I'd hang out with, I stopped caring about my appearance by stopping wearing makeup completely (still don't), I stopped shaving and did not give any though to the clothes I'd put on in my morning. I feel like there's more to life now, I feel that DMT opens up your mind to things you were closed-minded too, anyone agree?

I'm just asking this because I can see a difference in my perception after my trip. I feel that I should add at the time I was experimenting with DMT I was also using a lot of ketamine, molly and shrooms. I had taken molly, cocaine and ketamine throught the night and probably a hour or two before I smoked DMT for the first time, this makes a difference right? I think I did because my trip was insane, out of this world, describable.

I'm also very young, now 18 but I was 17 at that time.

lately when I'm by myself and I smoke cannabis I get this dissociative feeling like almost the feeling you get from K. I don't get it all the time, usually when I smoke before bed. anyone know why I keep getting this feeling? I never got it before I go into drugs.

sorry for my unorganized thoughts. I just have so many questions!
I really appreciate any input!

Not really my business but you got some combos going on that I can't get my head around, "Makeup and Shaving" "Cocaine, Ketamine, and DMT" which stand out as somewhat unusual.

Now that you have become an adult, perhaps you could consider a combo something like, " healthy eating , excercise, meditation and DMT?

All the best for you.

I experimented with DXM, which is a dissociative. Me and my friends would often get reminded of the properties the trip would have when smoking cannabis, but after a while it passed. Not sure about k though, but I think after a while it should pass. Just stay off the k and that should help.

Yea ketamine abuse for 6 months changed my weed high into a disassociation-like high and caused me to drop the 5 year going daily smoking habit. Watch out for K, it really slows down mental processes while also messing with many of your organs. I believe it brings one to a similar space as DMT yet, without the vehicle of ego, mind, or self. Which could be seen as good or bad. I've heard it described as not following normal shamanic rules(Like plant derived or plant based substances). A few very intelligent luminaries or mystics fell deep into the K and barely, or never, made it out in one piece. (check out wikipedia for D.M. Turner, John C. Lilly, and Marcia Moore)

BE VERY CAREFUL with Ketamine it is extremely addictive and almost acts like a psychedelic narcotic. Always scared me that shrooms, LSD, and DMT trips seemed to disapprove of my Ketamine. While I was using it heavily I couldn't have a normal or good trip on these substances.

Thats why many old ravers refer to it as, Regretamine.

In the province of the mind what one believes to be true, either is true or becomes true within certain limits. These limits are to be found experimentally and experientially. When so found these limits turn out to be further beliefs to be transcended. In the province of the mind there are no limits. However, in the province of the body there are definite limits not to be transcended.-J.C. Lilly

I myself love when my woman doesnt wear any makeup. Makeup is definitely used to "fix" imperfections that the user feels makes them ugly. A very egocentric trait. Hard to kick for some.

However, the shaving thing IMO doesnt have anything to do with outside appearance, unless your extremely hairy or its very noticeable. I wouldnt be so concerned with "getting rid" of your razor. Most men prefer (I assume your a girl) no hair on the arms and legs, and other places. Especially the arm pits, which is actually more of a hygiene thing, as it helps keep BO down.

There is a fine line between not caring how OTHERS view you and taking care of yourself. What drugs are you still using?

My first big psychedelic experience (shrooms) was the major player in my view on the world. DMT did this in different ways to though.

I get similar feelings when smoking cannabis after a good mushroom or DMT trip. Not always a dissociative feeling for me, but certainly reminiscent of a heavier trip than cannabis usually provides.

After an impressively powerful DMT trip I always feel I'm looking at the world with new eyes. I don't think it is anything to worry about, I've had out of body experiences while sober that have given me new eyes after as well.

I also prefer no-makeup. Shaving and similar can easily be roped in there as well. I see the appeal, but beauty doesn't require it. Keep in mind that society still likes to force it. I make sure to engage in good hygiene practices for the sake of my friends, loved ones, and work and the like.

oopps, my apologies about the makeup-shaving comment. Shaving is for guys, and waxing is for gals in my neck of the woods.
