Did some UEFA flake actually state that UEFA doesn´t want to take a stance against racism, because UEFA normally abstains from anything political? Not that i´m thát surprised: football is something that can bring out the worst in humans....so now combine football and politic´s and this is what you get.
I used to live in amsterdam, and though i never watched football or read about it in the papers, i always knew whenever an important football match was being played. How? well, if i would open my window and hear thousands of people yelling anti-semitic phrases then i knew: 'oh, there´s a football game going on'. Meaning that i could better stay home that day, because the whole city would smell like teargas...
