I was with my friends the other night and we had talked about doing a DMT session. Well as the night went on it didn't look we were going to so I packed a bowl of mj and shortly after my friend got his yield out. I was so upset because I won't do it while under the influence of anything else.

Instead I watch/sit for them. As my first friend starts I felt like I was re-experiencing my trip(probably just my sympathetic self). I didn't have the feeling, rather the understanding of what was going on. I started putting myself back into my trip right from the beginning. As I went into the re-enactment I started seeing/feeling things I had missed the first time. I started to reach an even better understanding of my DMT space/being and I was able to see/feel things from my friends I couldn't usually. It was rather odd because I started seeing them as who they really were no matter how insignificant their actions/words were. I could feel their spiritual selves in a much better understanding than "we're friends I know what kind of person they are". It was like I knew their true essence.

I was just wondering if anybody else has ever had anything odd in relation to mj and DMT.

I've read about similar experiences on some online forums. DMT is being administered and nearby, non-partaking members are able to experience the substance. Not many details were provided so I can't relate it to your experience.

Personally I have had similar feelings of understanding people's "true essence" on mushroom trips. I attributed it to feeling their energy/vibes
I was likely smoking marijuana on the mushroom trip, if or how that may apply.
