Hello fellows,

I must admit that I first learned of this community from a little bird a short while ago and have been 'lurking' nearby ever since. It will take me quite some time to backtrack and search through this resource before reaching the level of understanding that seems to be put forth by many on this board. My knowledge of Teks is minimal, but as an extraction attempt is a certain goal of mine I'll be around making observations and asking questions. As may be the case for some others I am also attempting to define the DMT experience within the bounds of human terms and ideas.

A background of my knowledge of the 'sacred' World seems necessary at this point. My experience lies with Changa and crystal DMT as Ayahuasca has eluded my path to date. Preferred methods of administration have been an Eclipse Vape, bong, and bubbler. All of my post-breakthrough level experiences have resulted in Entity contact. A number of breakthrough level experiences have resulted in Entity contact. A number of sub-breakthrough level experiences have resulted in Entity contact on the Earthly realm. My experiences that did NOT consist of Entity contact fell into three categories: 1) Visualization of the Mind. 2) Foreign Patterns/Fractals 3) Animal Experiences

1) Visualization of the Mind - Consists largely of 'flat' tunnel visuals, though the tunnels may be decorated with fractals. At times I have followed thoughts through these tunnels as they branch off and eventually find a place to settle and be forgotten, until the mind later re-awakens them. I have also been led through the tunnels to meet internal voices of mine who seem to have very full personalities all of their own. These voices do indeed exist and are my usual internal 'monologue' if it can still be called so.
*

2) Foreign Patterns/Fractals - Consists fully of shifting patterns that are NOT the so-called Jim-Jam. The visuals are generally tiles, such as drawings of ancient Olmec heads tiled in a criss-cross pattern. The tiles usually have a strange depth to them. The patterns are sometimes Fractals as would be seen in certain hyperspace 'rooms' but are less static or Gear-like.
*Visually similar to these Olmec heads. Bright orange background with the heads tiled diagonally across it.

3) Animal Experiences - Consists of a shift to the perspective of another living entity. The feeling of a normal hyperspace visit is distinctly different from the feeling as another creature, however it is hard to articulate.
*I would like to expand my knowledge here as I recall reading a Nexian who had an experience as a Snake. My experience here is minimal with only 1 such experience as a small insect as it was (hyp)killed by bipedal entity. As I was free falling to the ground the bipedals (the killer had a friend) then opened their eyes at which point tips of bright pattern and color began flowing out of their eyes towards me.

My experiences with Jim-Jam have always been a stage of the trip as opposed to the level of trip. Jim-Jam will come into my visuals shortly after reality subsides, but I have never had an experience consist solely of Jim-Jam visuals.
My experiences with Entities are should most likely be left for a post other than an introduction. Far too complex and far too many hypotheses.

I apologize for the chaotic bluntness of the descriptions I'm about to produce, but I hope to go into more detail in future posts. After reading through it I've found many similarities between my experiences and the Hyperspace Lexicon, however I've also noticed some notable differences. I have ridden the Carrier Wave until I met a woman on my right. She introduced me to a colorfully pulsating plasma temple with 3-4 ancient guards in front of it. Although I've had experience with what I thought was "letting go" completely, there was an incredible fear of fully letting go as the woman beckoned the plasma temple and a door of sorts began to bubble towards me. I could feel it (hyp)removing "me" from my world and taking me fully into their world. My memory fails me past this point. What I have noticed however is that this typical Carrier Wave, the loud buzzing or ringing that builds with volume and intensity as you ride it into hyperspace, is not the only Carrier Wave I've experienced. I've had outdoor trips (Changa) where the wind rustling the leaves of the trees created the same Carrier Wave effect, building in volume and intensity and ultimately landing me deeply in hyperspace.

My experience with the Earthly realm after a breakthrough has also been much different than the Candyland described in the Hyperspace Lexicon. While the world here definitely has the Candyland characteristics of being sharp and polished, I've noticed something more to it. Immediately upon returning from a breakthrough my environment has undergone a fairly radical shift. First, the world as a whole seems larger. It seems to extend outwards in areas that would normally be nearer. Second, plant life looks drastically rearranged and colorful. I'll estimate that 3/4 of the time, after I return from a breakthrough, the plant life nearby has been visually altered not only in color but also in direction. Hanging leaves will be pointing skyward, vines will loosen or tighten to reveal a stricter design, and I find myself in a decorated temple of sorts. Notably this has happened in multiple environments.

As you may have noticed I am quite interested in the finer details of hyperspace. DMT is a substance that makes one thing clear, it has much to offer. I have joined the community here to do my part in making it clearer just what it has to offer and how we may be able to better understand it. I will contribute my experiences and how I believe they may interact with the community view of hyperspace as a whole. We are incredible creatures and I believe in our ability to organize and understand.

Well, I suppose I should stop my introduction there. I hope to follow some of these stray thoughts into some more concise posts in the future. If I missed a common aspect of an introduction I'll be happy to add any information. Should anyone have a question or request for me I would be honored to oblige. I'll certainly be returning the favor in coming days as I attempt to increase my knowledge of Teks and further define aspects of the 'sacred' World.

Happy days fellows.

Welcome to the Nexus! That's a great first post... But yeah, super information-dense... Enough material for several healthy threads there.

Interesting that you posted that brain image. I saw that a few weeks ago connected with a neurology article in New Scientist. The article put forth a theory that, if you were to flatten out all the wrinkles in the brain, the mapping of neural connections in the tissue follows a simple 3D grid, almost like city streets, and that this arrangement makes it easier for information to navigate the complex brain structure. What I found striking about the article is that it reminds us that thoughts are actually a physical process happening in a material substrate, and that the shape of this physical foundation affects what thoughts we have, or even can have.

That sort of ties into your "visualization of the mind" notions. I've always found, really without exception, that my DMT visuals are clearly linked to specific meanings, which are in turn descriptive of my present state of mind. Which, in turn, is affected intimately by the physical and chemical environment in which it is happening.

I like your description of the criss-cross tiling patterns. I've mentioned these in the Lexicon thread but so far I haven't heard many other descriptions of these. I did create a banner for this site that features some of this style of tiling- you can find it in the Nexus Banner Gallery in music/art/literature. I'm also working on a far more complex tile environment that will be featured in a painting that I will be posting upon completion sometime in early July. Very curious to know if these tile patterns seem familiar to anyone.

Anyway, you seem like you've got a lot to offer the community here. There are a lot of great thinkers in this forum, but there seems to be a particular bandwidth of us who are really focused on the specifics of hyperspace visual language. (Global is one such individual, who has many great posts describing nitty-gritty specifics... Awesome stuff)

And if you're wondering why it took so long to get a response to your essay... Well, it's epic, and deserved a detailed response.

Thanks for the welcome. It's much appreciated and I apologize for it being so dense.

The "visualization of the mind" aspect certainly intrigues me. I'm familiar with the study from the article you mentioned and when I saw the image it resonated deeply with some of my experiences in hyperspace. Looking back over a similar article now, Van Wedeen, M.D., of MGH, explains "Far from being just a tangle of wires, the brain's connections turn out to be more like ribbon cables -- folding 2D sheets of parallel neuronal fibers that cross paths at right angles, like the warp and weft of a fabric." I vividly recall sharp 90 degree vertical turns as I was traveling through the tunnels.

As you mentioned and I can relate to, DMT visuals symbolize my current state of mind. However, if it weren't what you were intending to say, I might even say that it symbolizes the workings of my inner mind. Not simply the feelings, experiences, or dreams I've recently had or am currently residing with, but an intimate exploration of just 'how' my thoughts interact. In regards to the "visualization of the mind" I suppose I mean this in the most simplest form. Watching a thought as it progresses from creation, seeing it branch off at my own logical forks in the road, to ultimately being stored in memory and having to exert the effort and focus to retrieve it from memory. Mentioned in my original post, another example was when I met one of my internal voices. People have been speaking of these voices for ages (even Plato spoke of them), but I found it quite lovely to meet one in person.

Ah, I recognize your post in the Lexicon. I'm certain I've read it at some point during my time lurking. The tiles are truly beautiful too. I'm trying desperately to recall more specifics of that Olmec(head looks most similar) pattern I'd seen, but only recalling a flowing orange with the 3-D heads tiled in a dark, maybe black, color. The fractal tiles were particularly awe-inspiring, I can picture a glance of them in my head still but they are so beautifully complex I can't even come close to drawing it. In my eagerness to dig through the forums I had forgotten about the Music/Art/Literature section. I'll be sure to look through it for your banner. I'm very interested to see your painting as well, I hope you enjoy it.

Again, thanks for the welcome, brother. Look forward to seeing you around here.
