I have some problems with mice and have caught a few in traps but do not like killing them all and am wondering if i should use the 'Sonar traps' i know they work;

But does any one know if they have any affect on humans?
Say if i stuck two or three in my room would they be causing havoc on me subconsciously?

I bought a ultrasonic mouse repeller once, but i could not use it because my cats literally went crazy as soon as i turned it on. So i usually use some oldschool cage traps with peanutbutter as bait, this works quite well in our house.

Personally, i dont use spring-loaded mouse traps because i dont like the idea of killing an animal just because im disturbed by its presence. Smile

Never even knew they had sonar traps, but it's a bit late for that now (for the time anyway). I used to have a big mouse problem. Similarly to some of you, I also couldn't bring myself to kill them just because they were a nuisance...but that didn't stop my roommates from chasing them with bats.

The cage traps are really good instead of a dead mouse with the occasional guts hanging out you get to see how cute they really are Smile

Catch them and tell them off, that usually works.

Yeah, my cats went crazy too. They bother some people too. I swear I can hear them if I'm in the right position. They make my teeth hurt.
Why are the mice a problem? You can't co-exist with them? Make your house unattractive to mice. Make all of your food and garbage inaccessible. Get some cats etc.
Seriously though, I know mice can be a problem, especially if you live in an area where hantavirus is hanging around.

Huh yea i live in a shed/shack out back, and they have made home in the wall with the insulation.
And they smell, like bacon powder or something LOL, don't get me wrong the smell was ok for a day but now i am sick of it lol.

We have chooks so i think thats why they are attracted.

oh well its not that bad.

LOL, i have had them slid down my curtain like a fire pole,

and awoke once to a tickling up and down my side, needless to say it was a mouse sleeping with me bahahahaha its funny but its gross.

Yeah no mice diseases here, yet....

EDIT: NO They smell like eXtra cheesy Cheetos lol
