All,
Just wondering if one can use a bee-line with the glass VG...seems like a good idea but I would be concerned the flame would not be hot enough for efficient vaporization of material. Anyone have experience with this?

Anyone have experience with this? Vaping weed with a bee-line is no problem. Vaping DMT with a bee-line is a Very Bad Idea. You can easily lose motor control and your awareness of this reality too quickly for you to extinguish the flame. I think most people would prefer not to die in a fire while tripping.

My dear Nexians, I have a question concerning GVG. But first to explain: I got my new GVG a few weeks ago. Since then I tried it only twice (first was just a testing, second try was a breakthrough / cca 35mg in one hit - could never done that by means of another method, I think) My question concerns the lighter. I have a torch lighter that failed me on both occasions of using my GVG (= the flame went off very soon after tilted downwards), so both times I finished the procedure using a regular (= normal yellow flame) lighter. And I think it worked quite well... Could you please explain me, why do you guys suggest to get a good jet-lighter? Is there anyone who actually uses a normal lighter with their GVG? Maybe these are stupid questions; I am just asking them to figure out why I should invest in a new and relatively expensive lighter, if "normal" lighter seemed to work... Thanks a lot for your ideas/comments!

A torch is used to maintain strict control of the heat source. With a torch you hold the flame a certain distance and it maintains the same level of heat directed to the same position provided you can hold it steady. This allows you to quickly VAP O RIZE all your product without overheating. Accurately. Sheesh.

Hiya, I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if I'm repeating a question. Three things about the GVG:
1. I'm worried that it's so fragile - in all my DMT trips I don't even remember the moment I've exhaled, so is there a possibility to drop it, lay on it and break it? 2. Why isn't it suitable for group use? 3. It will be hard for me to find a copper scrubber in my town, can't I just use some herbs?

Why isn't it suitable for group use? As fragile as any glass. Give it only to those who know hyperspace and how to handle the pipe out there. After using it, put it immediately next to you or keep it in your hands.

Well, I tend to move during trips - fetal position and whatnot - so how can I be sure I won't break it? And... how can I be sure I'll be able to place it next to me?

(Tele and Dragonaut000: thanks for your replies)
Autumnsphere: The way I have been doing it (but you also should note that I am a beginner here) is the following. I smoke DMT while lying in my bed. There I "measure" s spot on my bed, as far as I can reach with my right hand comfortably, and I put a large towel there. Then I hit the pipe/bong. As soon as I suspect that I will soon lose my cognizance of "this" world, I simply close my eyes, lean back, and with my right hand I deliver the pipe/bong to the safe spot on the towel.
I developed this primitive method in order to minimize possible accidents, burns, or smashing of my smoking apparatus. The purpose of the towel is that it will absorb potential leaks and heat from the smoking device so that I don´t accidently burn my bed in case the bong/pipe topples over etc...
I know this is a kind of primitive method of minimizing risks, but it has worked for me so far...

My bed is small, and I'm afraid I'll just lay on top of the pipe. But I have a bedside table, we'll see... I just don't wanna smash the divine apparatus, hehe.

I don´t want to push you to adopt my method of ingestion... ...but you could also lie on the floor, using mattress, cushions and pillows to make yourself as comfortable as desired

Right, what you wanna do is this..... Rig up an elaborate pulley and lever system that culminates in a string/wire which you can attach to the back of your head via a stylish headband. Set it up so that your GVG is lowered to a convieniant smoking position when you are sat up in your bed. Now you can take an enourmous toke and collapse backwards onto some pre-positioned pillows and take your journey. As you fall backwards the pulley system will raise your precious GVG up to a safe level away from any movements you might make while wrestling with the infinte madness of existence. Now, when you drop back into the room and want to take another hit all you have to do is sit up and this will lower the GVG back down to toking height and you will be ready to go. simple or you could just place it down on your bed side table INHALE, SURVIVE, ADAPT it's all in your mind, but what's your mind??? fool of the year
