Feeling a bit left behind...I want to experience something beyond the mundane. I think I've played life a bit too close to the line never veering off much for some extraordinary epiphanies/revelations. I have had one or two mind blowing experiences that are vivid and unforgettable and I'd like to try to relive some of those moments. I can't seem to get satisfaction or find solace in knowledge, books, or study.

I've smoked your typical college joint here and there and did quite enjoy the smokey haze, but I want more. Can't put it into words...but DMT seems to be calling me and for a long time now. I am actually Bolivian American and have heard tales of ayahuasca trips and mystics from family members. I feel like my blood is missing something important here....

Anywho...I look forward to perusing the forums and looking for direction here. Ideally, I would like to meet someone experienced to guide me through this process, but I am resolved to this path and will get there one way or another.

Hola,

sounds like boredom is not your only reason for wanting to take DMT.

Welcome!
And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

Welcome to the Nexus!

Every second is a miracle, how can you be bored? Smile

Did you try any psychedelic yet? If you didn't, I think you're gonna be in for a wild ride if what you expect is just "not to be bored". Careful with what you wish Very happy

I deeply suggest you check the Health and Safety section as well as the FAQ, both linked below the banner or in the welcome private message your received.

Are you considering ayahuasca or rather extracting and smoking DMT freebase? Or both?

Be well!

Hola Smile Boredom might have been a poor word choice. I just feel like I'm missing something in my life that makes my world a bit grey.

Thanks for the welcome. I have never tried any psychedelic. Well, I can't change my title, but boredom is not the term that should define me...hope I cleared that up a bit in my previous post. I won't rush into anything and plan to do some research and due diligence before I attempt anything of this nature.

The Health and Safety section was a very helpful read. Thank you for pointing it out. I feel a bit more confident after reading it.

That is a good question, I have considered extracting and smoking DMT, but I wouldn't be adversed to try ayahuasca should the opportunity present itself. My only problem is I would like to try ayahuasca under experience supervision. I don't see that being in my cards for the moment, so I'll look into doing an extract and smoking DMT first.

I think I was being called years ago when I was a teenager in Bolivia for the first time. I had this amazing fainting spell that lead to an incredibly vivid hallucination that has been stuck in the back of my mind forever. I won't go into long detail, but I was dehydrated and fell/fainted, the world turned to black and I woke up in lush gardens discussing the secrets of the universe with what seemed like an omnipotent being for hours, but then was awoken not even a minute later as I crashed into the ground from my initial fall. That one experienced has colored my perception of the world...I can only imagine or hope that DMT has something similar in store for me.

I feel like I've neglected my heritage...I need to make up for lost time.

I understand what you mean. At a time I was dealing with a horrible alcohol addiction I felt compelled to start researching fungi. I was able to battle back and although ultimately the choices and abilities were my own it was a VERY powerful tool that was invaluable to my research. You could remove lug nuts with your face, but sometimes the proper tool will help get the job done.

I understand what you mean about boredom and yes it is a poor choice of wording for what it seems you are seeking Smile I remember my earlier trips in suburbia I always had dreams and thoughts of nature. I was being called back to nature... Even still living in a smaller city I feel compelled to still go yet farther... Trust yourself as only you are capable of manifesting something wonderful or something malicious. Your intentions are good so let that be the guide for your experience.
MIND YOU THIS IS AN ENTIRE WORK OF FICTION FOR A FANTASTIC NOVEL I AM WORKING ON - THESE ARE MERELY STORIES TO ENTERTAIN AND ARE OF NO RESEMBLANCE TO ANY LIVING OR HISTORICAL PERSONS
