Sometimes the universe has an odd sense of humor. Get this, I load a nice big hit and go out into my garden, sit down in my lawn chair and take a few minutes to relax, saying Kramers line a few times to get in the zone... "serenity now, serenity now" ... look around and see the nice flowers, birds flying around and chirping, and everything is at peace, so I go ahead and proceed to haul it down. It was a BIG one, and I try as hard as I can to fight the cough... keep it down damn it... no luck. I start coughing like crazy and you'd never expect what happens next... my neighbor fires up his god-damn CHAINSAW on the other side of the fence (like 20 feet away) and goes to town on some tree in his yard, Full Throttle!!! BRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRRZRR!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The universe exploded into complete chaos! Like I was being completely torn apart from all angles, inside and out... and I felt the universe laughing at me and adding to the total madness of the moment while being in full universal dissemination. So I think I just started laughing too, total uncontrollable laughter in how utterly ridiculous this whole situation was Anyhoo... I honestly can't remember the intricate details of where I went because it was all too chaotic as you'd expect, but when I came back my face was wet with tears from laughing so hard. Amazing trip, but hopefully never to be repeated with the same launch parameters. There is still a little spice left in the bowl... but I think I'm done for today. Oh waiter... check please.

At least you were able to laugh it off! That sounds perfectly horrible to me. If your religion, faith, devotion, or self proclaimed spirituality is not directly leading to an increase in kindness, empathy, compassion and tolerance for others then you have been misled.

Whoops!
I've had to deal (a couple of times) with an ill-timed leaf blower guy arrival, and once with an extremely loud garbage truck that lingered throughout the ride, but a chainsaw sounds particularly horrible.
Hats off for the sense of humor.

Don't you worry in general that your neighbour might see you blasting off?
Part of why I prefer night time for blasting is that there are no outside noises.

I love that moment during a trip when your perspective shifts and your looking at the entirety of a situation and just can't help but laugh your butt off. ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) Great story! Thanks for sharing, I'm glad you had such a good nature towards the interruption. โ There are some things.

Nice way to handle it,
when one thing goes wrong I lose my shit (pardon my language)
One time my xbox was on and the TV was off but the small rotating fan was enough to make the trip go in the wrong direction.

..god skid750! ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) glad you could laugh too.. watch out for noisy-neighbors..almost as bad as the landlord knocking on the door wanting rent 30 seconds after inhaling (i just stayed very quiet) ..choosing night or dawn, or more natural settings of course helps minimize the risks of such interruptions .. though i once had a (luckily small) branch land on my head (wasn't thinking right prior to that anyway) thanks skid750 for this frontline report..

Reading your post made me laugh like I was there with you. I've been is situations before that are so god-awful, horrible that all one can do is laugh as a default response. Laugh out of sheer deliriousness. Laugh because the situation can get no worse. You just put some hair on your chest. Awesome Kudos on your handling of the situation. Yikes! That sounds intense! ![Shocked](/forum/images/emoticons/shock.png) This reminds me of a time I was sitting for my GF. For what ever reason she was having difficulty vaping some Changa, and after a few failed attempts decided to call it quits and went into the kitchen to do kitcheny type things. I looked at the genie and thought 'why not have a try?' and without telling her, fired up the Genie and cleaned up her leftovers - which turned out to be a fairly substantial dose. About a minute after blastoff the door opened, and she came in jabbering some foreign language that I could not comprehend, while the room morphed and my brain did loopdeloops. It was most off putting to say the least, some where along the line I managed to utter 'TR.. TRIPPING!' and she spent the rest of the trip telling me how sorry she was. Would've been better if she had just shut up! I had a bit f a chat with her after that, and agreed to let her know when I planned on smoalking, and she agreed to stfu. Turned out she was talking to me about washing up! What a buzz kill! ![Laughing](/forum/images/emoticons/laughing.png) Lose Control, Free My Soul, Break Me Open, Make Me Whole."DMT kicked my balls off" - od3

Oh man, I feel your pain. I live near RR tracks and this past weekend was out in my backtard at night blasting off and it seemed like trins were attracted by my lips touching the GVG. Everytime I took a tug, a train would come roaring down the tracks... I laughed alot too. Thanks for sharing. Wow glad it wasn't me! Weird how those things happen. Could be 3 am, but every dog in my area knows when I launch. I'll come down, the barking stops. Hit again, and there goes the neighborhood. Even the wind. Totally calm. It would be nice to see the stars....open the door, its like the trees spotted me, "bring it on fellas!", go inside, no wind. Open the door, whoooosh, the trees almost have a shit eating grin too. Well, y'know, it's like this experience that I had was like, y'know, erm, it was kind of the most profound experience I've had in me life, like

As others have said, I'm sorry you had to go through this, but this made me laugh out loud. It makes me feel less guilty that you can laugh along with us ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) It reminds me of the time I was just taking little mini leftover hits out of my pipe when I heard a knock at my door. I was expecting my best friend to come over at the time, so I didn't feel uncomfortable answering the door with one foot partially entering hyperspace. It ended up being my new neighbor (I had just moved) bringing me cookies. I was able to utter "thank you" as she proceeded to start growing eyes all over her face. I proceeded to have a relatively long conversation with her as I wondered to myself if I was staring at the right set of eyes. I eventually made it through the experience, but laughing was not my reaction! I ended up finally getting back inside by myself and laying face down on the floor in a pool of my own sweat with a massive anxiety attack. You dealt with it better. Welcome back and I wish you better launches in the future! All posts are completely fictional and for educational purposes only

Maybe the serenity thing is actually some type of curse... I had a similar thing happen once at 6am when I was 1gram of mescaline deep and had just taken a shot of ayahuasca...KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK....a policeman was knocking on my neighbors apartment door with his nightstick and I thought it was my door.... I peeked through the drapes and saw this shiny, glimmering silver badge. I was just relieved he wasn't knocking on my door. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not percieve the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "brother let me remove the speck from your eye", when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye?-Yeshua ben Yoseph

"Serenity now, insanity later" ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) Nice report. It sounds way too intense, but it's cool that you could laugh it off. It reminds me of the biggest dose of acid I've ever done(ten hits). I dosed, started meditating in my bedroom, and was planning on walking up the street and into the mountains once it took effect. As soon as my walls started melting ![Smile](/forum/images/emoticons/smile.png) , in came a few plumbers to fix our toilet and sink. They were pounding on things for like two hours, and every "bang" was sending intense vibrations through my whole being. I was so high and nervous that I laid silently in my room, pretending I wasn't there so I wouldn't have to interact with them, while doing my best to keep my heart in my chest. "I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it."
