Hello, so it looks like my idea of a community Dropbox account got shut down for security/copyright reasons, so I guess the only way we can make this work is by everyone setting up their own Dropbox account that wants to be a part of this project (it's free). I apparently can't even link to the material for copyright reasons, so maybe whoever wants to be a part of this can set up a Dropbox account and post to this thread whatever album or song they want with a brief description, then PM me the link so whoever is interested in the album/song can PM me for the info on how to obtain it. Any other ideas on how to make this music sharing project a reality would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the 2 albums I have recommended so far:

1) Carlos Santana - Divine Light (Producer Bill Laswell's reconstruction of "Love, Devotion, Surrender" (1973) by Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin (1973) and "Illuminations" by Carlos Santana and Alice Coltrane (1974))

2) Emancipator - Safe in the Steep Cliffs

Find your own means of obtaining these albums, or PM me for where you can get these.

Cheers, and happy music sharing!

its pretty easy to host albums on a site like mediafire, just upload and share links. password protection is an option if you want it limited to only those you choose to have access to it. i send friends albums all the time by hosting them on mediafire.

my favorite album for a journey would have to be the self titled LP from Daturah. German instrumental psychedelic post-rock... nothing i can really compare it to. The entire album is mindblowing from start to finish, with most songs clocking in around 15-20 minutes.

opening ambient voice "brother he said.... i'm going to show you something you're not going to believe" sets the tone quite nicely.

part 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vAKzwltBX4
part 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLD7BqIiRsE

Full album in high quality MP3, simply extract with winrar - http://www.mediafire.com/?0jy4wwz4ym4

Cosmic Butterly, I really love your stuff. I can really feel it...I'm listening to Drifting into Eternity right now...and mm. I just want you to know that I see you. I see your music. And it's beautiful. You've done a fantastic thing. Much love. Smile

Ah - but I just realized that's the only song that doesn't have a download link! Is there any way I could download it?
