I've read a few comments about people using vaporgenies and wondered if anyone had experience with using dmt and volcano's. I want to do this but dont know if it would ruin my volcano or what kind of screen(s) should be used?

The vaporgenie is very different from the volcano. The vaporgenie is used with a lighter.

I have a volcano but I have never tried this because I have a vapor genie. If you have the easy valve system you can buy a set of new bags and it comes with some steel wool you can use to put the DMT on top of so it does not drip down into the core of the volcano. I would be worried that it would crystalize on the inside of the bag. If you try it let me know how it goes.

the volcano works..BUT the only problem is that a LOT of dmt will start to crystallize on the bag..because it cools down really fast..so if you do use it..make sure you dont leave the hit in the bag for too long..or you will most likely lose a lot

lmao I got vaporgenie mixed up with a version of an electric vaporizer I actually have one of these I totally forgot about. I'll just use the vaporgenie. Any suggestions on what to do when using the vaporgenie just use it like I would with weed?

Buy 4-5 extra screens (5/8" diameter) of the finest mesh possible to stack above the existing screen. That way you can vape the straight spice without having to use a herbal bed.

This is good, but if you dislike the DMT aroma then a little herb really helps to mask it. Vaping over herb also sops up the dmt and releases it slower than on metal, it's slightly smoother to hit this way.

If you do use herb, avoid laying DMT near the walls because when you screw the diffuser on it prevents vaporization. SWIM looked at his bowl after a 50mg trip and saw about 10mg still loaded close to the walls. Lay a concave layer of herb down first, about 1/8th" thick, put DMT in middle with a little weed blended in, then cover slightly with more weed on top to buffer it.

^No need to put a layer on top. The charcoal filter assures that the flame will never touch the spice. It works much quicker and is still very smooth. This way most of the DMT is vaporized before the herb is. I have actually found the herbs, once they get a little burnt, to be harsher than the DMT.
