Hi there, First of all, I'd like to thank this forum for introducing me to Shpongle and Ott, both of which I've enjoyed immensely- particularly Ott's latest album. What I was wondering was, can anyone suggest any further artists whose work is similar to Ott or Shulman? I've a hankering for more of this kind of music, and don't know where to begin looking for similar artists. Ott qualifies as dub, but you can't simply type 'dub' into a search engine and expect to find analogous music. I would love to hear (and support) more artists in this vein, so if anyone can recommend a few to me, I would be eternally grateful. Ceci n'est pas Thesmorphia.

Well I haven't ever really listened to Ott, but I plan to check it out! If your into dub though I love the band De Facto for some good dub. I am not sure if you will like it at all, it is a lot less psychedelic than say Sphongle for instance. But I enjoy it Walter The Unknown = A Place to Learn

I'm not sure if Ratatat has been mentioned anywhere yet, but I put them in a category similar to Sphongle, but less out there. And no Dub really, just ridiculous sweet beats.

Bluetech definitely fits the bill as someone above mentioned... I love Shpongle/Ott/Younger Brother so here are a few suggestions from my brain... Celtic Cross (A band with Simon Posford celtic+dub, lol... kind of) Cell Entheogenic Asura - (a little more ambient) Ishg - (a little more ambient) Hol Baumann Vibrasphere - (a little more ambient) Hope this helps...good luck Pup TentacleYou are precisely as big as what you love and precisely as small as what you allow to annoy you.Robert Anton WilsonMushroom Greenhouse How-ToI'm no pro but I know a a few things - always willing to help with Psilocybe cubensis cultivation questions.

If you're into the heavy dub stuff, check out Satchi Om- there's a free music player at www.protonpress.com with some of his stuff. There's others great electronic music there too, hours worth.

Just wanted to correct Pup tentacles typo. Because it's important that you listen to this band, ISHQ And Awake is my favorite album by them. It's ambient, but not totally beatless. Wonderfully psychedelic. Welcome Home Mister_Niles. We've Been Waiting For You.
