2012 Presidential candidate Rocky Anderson is the former mayor of Salt Lake City. He has a long history of standing for social justice, common sense policies, and equal rights. He is a model of integrity and has always worked for the people and against corruption. He is running on his own donation funded platform called the Justice Party. His policies quite simply make sense, and I think he may be our best hope for a sane sustainable future. It's a long shot but I think it's the best one we've got right now. I'm asking you to spread the message about him if you agree.

Thanks Very happy

That's a very realistic and pragmatic use of your share of the electoral process, dreamer042.

Why not use your vote for the Easter Bunny? I've heard he gives out chocolate eggs (and has an equal chance of winning).

This is probably not the best forum for politics... so I will keep it short.
Weak socialistic policies that endanger the idea and foundation of the original American dream. Empowering the mob is the last thing American's need right now. Never should a mob be empowered, this is to include, religions, unions, income brackets, races etc. To give a group rights that an individual does not have is anti-free, immoral, and anti-american.
Furthermore any govt. that determines that it can act as a thief, because it wears a uniform and keeps paperwork of it is pathetic and immoral. Forcing anyone to partake in any form of anything (healthcare, welfare, wealth redistribution, etc.) is thievery, and no better than a thug that shakes down an old woman in the alley. Actually it is worse because at the least the thug will admit to doing wrong, where the govt. hides behind religion, altruism, and "me and this army".
I would think that anyone here would understand that every individual has their inherit rights, that that individual has the same rights as others. That only individuals have rights, and therefore can not gain or give up rights in a group (mob) setting. That the role of a govt. is to protect those rights, both on the streets (police) and from foreign oppression (borders aka military). That it is only when a conflict of rights between individuals exist that a law can be made. That laws involving fake, imaginary, or pretend victims are not laws, but mob rule meant to rule and enslave those that would otherwise not be criminals. That the only true form of evil is initiation of force, and to do such is to hand over your rights to those that can help you better learn to control yourself.
If we return to the rights of the individual, and stop this nazi-germany/communist russia crap, America would again be the greatest place to live. The American Dream was always the right to have no man stand between you and your dream, ALLOWING you to reach it as long as you were willing to work for it. Also prohibiting you from impeding another man's right to achieve his dream. It was also that you would finally not have to worry about losing the fruits of your hard labor. That no man with a gun was going to come and take it from you. Which is what happens now, sponsored by your govt.
I ramble.
I will not vote for any man that concedes that a poor man's child is more important than my child when it comes to my sweat, blood and tears. I will not vote for any man that does not understand that free milk for some means slave labor for all. I will not vote for a man that speaks in shades of gray and moral in-absolutes.
I have seen first hand the true cost of freedom.
Vote ME for Pres, 2020.

Maybe once you've learned how to express your half-baked John Birch Society rhetoric in a reasonably articulate manner, I will.

Or not.

Probably not.

I am interested to hear more about your comparison of the current administration with Nazi Germany, however.

IMO, the whole electoral process is a sham. Even if its not, the president is always more of a puppet than an agent of change anyways

<Ringworm>hehehe, it's all fun and games till someone loses an "I"

So a proper president for you is more about articulation than policy? So, please clarify as to which part you find unclear?
German Nazi party, i.e. National Party. Nationalism being a lesser form of Communism, in the same way Socialism is a lesser form. If you want to read more about it I would point you to The Ominous Parallels By Leonard Peikoff.
Furthermore I am not very studied on John Birch, and therefore I will refrain from responding to your failed attempt to frame my political beliefs under his name.
