DMT isn't a drug in my book But best of luck, and let us know how it goes! I think most of us here had a fair few 'normal' drug experiences before jumping in the deep end with the honorable D.

I have a friend who's first drug was a combination of Salvia and DMT. It worked out great for him! (It's actually a friend of mine and not me)

Oh and if you want something inexpensive to smoke out of, you can buy an oil burner (meth pipe) from a head shop, those work pretty well. Or you can also construct a lightbulb vaporizer. Personally, I use a test tube with a well fitting part of a pen tube to suck up the vapors, and that works really well, and costed me nothing to make. Also, I've never heard of anyone doing this for DMT, but you can easily make a one-time pipe out of an apple or another fruit, and that could work well (usually this is done for weed). I've always thought it was silly to buy really expensive smoking devices, unless they are just that much more effective and you smoke enough substance to economically justify the purchase.

2.You said you researched alot? Anyway people have found success(me included) with the wooden and glass vapor genies, but even they need proper technique and tools(screen, lighter etc) for perfect vaping, other techniques you can find through searching this site.

I think they might only sell the glass ones online, but I think the wooden ones are becoming more and more popular among shops. And yeah, stay away from the lightbulb vaporizers.

If you go with a meth pipe, there is a method that works great to avoid burning, but it is significantly trickier/harder than the vapor genie.

Essentially, you load the dmt into the meth bulb and using a torch lighter, begin to melt the dmt. In order to do this, ignite the lighter and move it towards and away from the bulb, the flame ideally should come short of ever making contact with the glass and the oscillations of near and far should be fairly smooth. As the bulb heats up, the dmt will liquefy and collect at the bottom of it.

Once all of the dmt is liquefied, you can hold the flame near the bulb for a slightly longer time and the liquid dmt will kick up plumes of vapor/smoke (depending on how close/how long you hold the lighter at this point). You don't want to start holding the lighter closer/longer until the dmt is liquefied and you are ready to begin inhaling it. As the liquid begins bubbling and plumes of vapor/smoke begin to appear, start inhaling gently and smoothly for as long as possible.

This method is greatly helped by having somewhere designated to put the hot pipe down, such as a plate, as the hot bulb will burn through/melt just about any fabric. I used to work the lighter for everyone I knew who wanted to dry dmt when I was using this method and there were no complaints of harsh vapors and the people who were trying it didn't have to worry about anything but inhaling, so an assistant may help while perfecting this method.

I had great success with this method for a good year before the GVG began to really get hyped and I purchased one. Hope that helps, should you find yourself relegated to meth pipes

I would rather use the screens instead of altering the device. If im paying $100 for a pipe then im gonna use it the way its suppose to be used lol

The device was not meant to be used for smoking crystal DMT, if you try it out you'll see it doesnt work well because DMT melts through the screen.. Im not just losing my time making this up for the sake of it, you know?

If you want to use just the screens, at least put a bit of herbs on the bottom so the dmt melts and stays on the herbs and doesnt go through the stem.

It's not really altering the device, it's more akin to using a specialized dmt screen rather than an herb screen.

Technically, the GVG is designed for use with herbal blends, so as soon as you put dmt in it, you could argue you're not "using it the way it's supposed to be used."

An herbal layer on a screen works well, but it's also different than vaping pure dmt...if you get one and experiment with it, you'll see
