I blow glass and rather than pay money for a genie I want to make one, does anyone have photos or basic design parameters for a pipe???

I've seen it do you prefer the wooden to glass?

I do not like the wooden one at all. It sits in my drawer unused. If you are a glassblower, it would be great if you could take the GVG design and improve on it -- or at least make something similar at half the cost. You already have the customer base and the number one complaint of the GVG is the price!

Thanks, I don't understand how many chambers are on it and the peice that goes in the bowl, but I'll do an image search and try to get photos I can Imitate, to make a very good functioning pipe.

What if any complaints are there about the GVG?

I may have to make a trip to a head shop and scope the design close up.

I'm assuming parts can be bought if something breaks.
The ceramic part is stumping me.

i agree glass vg blows the wood out of the water, i have both and use wood only sometimes for weed. Keep in mind that what makes the genie the genie is not just the shape of the glass..but the ceramic filter that when heats up vapes the dmt. So if u make a removable top piece like the genie, try to make room for the filter

get the vapor stone and make a pipe around it.

Hello there. I have often dreamed that someone would step up to the plate and develop a DMT pipe that is not ONLY incredibly functional, but aesthetic as well. I always thought it was rather unfortunate that my marijuana smoking pipes are way more visually appealing than my DMT pieces.

I always use a small glass freebase pipe for vaporizing my DMT. I can get this type of pipe to work like a charm using paper matches.

I don't own a GVG, mainly because of my budget constraints but also because I am not really sold on the functionality of it and I don't really think they are that neat looking personally. IMHO, Much like the glass oil burner, the GVG still has a "drug" paraphernalia look to it that I don't care for. The machine too is obviously very bad looking, I also don't care for the metallic taste they give.

So I'm just saying it would be nice if someone came up with a "really trippy looking" DMT pipe for once. I sort of hate using the freebase pipe, not only because of the match smell but also because every time I look at it reminds me of some episode of COPS the T.V show or something....

In the spirit of affordability, I wonder if there would be a way to make a nicer looking variation on this infamous looking device.....I have seen "colored" ones but they still look just as bad.

You are taking a drug from it "DMT", right?

What comes to functionality it's efficiency is more than enough for me, I have broken through with a dose as low as 19mg. 25mg is almost guaranteed breakthrough. If I would brake mine and meanwhile the people at the genie would raise the price to 500usd I would still get another one(and I'm not rich).

I love the looks of the thing and it's absolutely perfect in every way. One can also customize it's looks with whatever one can bring to mind(stickers, feathers whatever) to bring it into more "hyperspace look".

And I'm not the only one here who absolutely loves the Glass genie!

If one can't afford it I suggest the carved wooden vaporgenie(the round one has aluminum connection point that heats up noticeably)

I was just attempting to word it in a nice way. To put it more blatantly....

I don't really like smoking what I consider to be a very sacred substance out of something that looks like a crack or meth amphetamine pipe.

Glass Marijuana pipes generally are not mistaken for crack pipes (except by really old pot heads that still insist upon using those metal, screw together pipes.)

I am just saying it might be nice to have a DMT pipe that was identifiable with DMT only.

but it could be just a pipe dream...

What would be pretty swell is to have a GVG outfitted with some extra glass designs wrapped around it based on hyperspace and fractals in general.

wow those are truly impressive! I doubt I would let either of those ever leave my room for fear of breakage. I'm in the market for a new pipe as well. I made the key but I'm looking for something I bit more traditional like the gvg or wooden vg. Are there any alternatives to the wooden vg in the 50-60 dollar price range? I've been spending way too much money lately for someone with little to no income.

I read that thread but thank you very much. I was just hoping some new pipe has come onto the market within the last couple months but it looks like the glass sherlock gvg is still the winner.

I on the other hand find it to be just a good looking glass pipe and I guess I just don't connect glass pipe with Crack or whatever drugs there are.

If you have issues with glass pipes and want effective vaping device you can try the carved wooden vaporgenie and also make a bong out of the threaded piece.

In general when there is such proven effective device for delivering the substance and reaching "there", I really don't care if it would look like cigarette with smileys in it. But each to his own.

i would really like to buy this nice kitchen knife, but i am not some knife-wielding serial killer, so i will stick with my butter knife.
