I was kinda grinding yopo seeds with my fingers say maybe a gram or two and i started to feel kinda weird and i might have dropped one and i think my dog might have ate it! He was acting different like wierd. Is it bad to ingest it? And is bufotenine safe on the skin, it stained my fingers orange.

Alright, so i walked my dog a few miles and i feel better now i guess my dog was just reacting from my energy. My heart started racing and i was feeling a body load from the bufotenine i think, or it could be that i've only had 1 hour of sleep for in 40 hours,smoked 2 packs of cigs & ate lots of cocoa nibs, and have been starring a computer screen forever and not excercising, My fingers looked really irritated where i was crushing those seeds and i grew like a tiny wart on my thumb in a matter of minutes and it was sort of numbing my fingers my heart was pounding super fast. My mom smoked salvia for the first time and nothing happened (10x) and that made me nervous for her too earlier today She started walking around after about a minute of nothing happening so she smoked another bowl and started to feel the gravity pulls but nothing other than that lol. Does san pedro cactus make your heart pound fast? cuz if it does i'm a little intimidated. (Still a dmt virgin) Oh and i wasn't intending to consume the yopo seeds, at least not today just popping them and crushing em' up for later use. I'm not good with racy heart situations especially when i'm caught off guard.

Anyone have an idea why i would feel the effects through my fingers?

I don't think sufficient quantities of tryptamines can physically pass through your fingers, into the bloodstream (where, if I'm not mistaken, they're already being broken down by MAO enzyme), and onto the appropriate receptors in your brain, to cause this effect. Laugh if you want, but some say such materials can be said to possess a kind of "energy" or "vibe" that you can pick up without physically ingesting anything. Maybe it has something to do with the electromagnetic spectrum.

Maybe i was just over reacting, my fingers are still orange after washing them several times and taking several baths still has a little irritation as well and the wart is weird lookin'. I know what you mean by the "energy" i got that when i was about to attempt to smoke dmt and never did. My dog was starring at his shadow and falling into it and i really thought he ate one of the seeds lol. i dont think he did though but i definitely felt something but there were many factors that could contribute to that from yesterday.
