New member here, my husband and I are working on getting back in touch with our "medicine" using dmt and ayahuasca as a catalyst to regqining the awareness and knowledge that adulthood and all its stress seems to have hidden away.

I look forward to spending time here and learning everything I can!

Sounds like a great plan! I can relate- being a married dad and business owner, it's easy to get caught up in the day to day details and forget the important stuff. I wish you folks the best of luck in your travels.

Welcome to the Nexus!

Best wishes on your explorations. Balance is difficult with a busy life. I tend to put a lot of time between my times with psychedelics. Welcome. Come on in, the water is warm and friends are here to share your experiences with!
Everything mentioned herein has been deemed by our staff of expert psychiatrists to be the delusional rantings of a madman who has been treated with Thorazine who is hospitalized within the confines of our locked facility. This patient sometimes requires the application of 6 point leather restraints and electrodes at the temples to break his delusions. Therefore, take everything mentioned above with a grain of salt...

Hi bathdeva,

Welcome to the Nexus. I absolutely love your username Very happy

I love the way you phrased that - regaining the knowledge hidden/denied by adulthood. As Arthur C. Clarke put it (this resonates with me personally), "I have so much unlearning to do."

Have you folks been consuming your medicines for awhile now or is this brand new? How's it going? Will your husband sign up? I got mine to sign up but he quit doing anything after about 10 posts LOL.

Take a good look around - this place is huge - the links up in the upper right hand corner are particularly helpful, I have found.

Anyway, a vary warm welcome to both you and your husband.

Peace & Love
"But even if nothing lasts and everything is lost, there is still the intrinsic value of the moment. The present moment, ultimately, is more than enough, a gift of grace and unfathomable value, which our friend and lover death paints in stark relief."

I know it has been a while, but I wanted to say thank you for the warm welcome.

I personally have a lot of experience with various methods of mind expansion, although most of them have been on the back burner for quite a few years.

My husband is fully on board. We are not only exploring the method contained here, but also yoga, meditation, reading and talking about our spiritual thoughts, studying various traditions and paths.

He leans heavily towards a more eastern mystical Buddhist/zen influenced way, while I am more female earth centered but with very little focus on any one single belief system. For both of us DMT fits squarely into our journeys, both alone and together.

I am also still heavily in the research phase, trying to decide which methods and plants we want to explore.
