Ever since elementary school I have been profoundly interested by the idea of altered states of consciousness. When I was 14, I was introduced to cannabis for the first time and almost instantly I had realized that the plant was going to occupy a very special place in my life. For my first couple years the cannabis experience was an enigma to me, It confused me that a certain drug can have a wide array of mental and physical effects. I started doing basic research on cannabis until i knew significantly more than what the general public was aware of. upon studying cannabis and its history, I learned many things that broke my trust with my culture and institutions. and while using cannabis, i recognized that it was a great tool for thinking, introspection, and keeping your mind open to knew ideas. cannabis completely transformed my life for the better and I cant even bare to think of how i would behave if i had not come to the understanding that psychedelic drugs are one of, if not the greatest tool for self exploration, cultural deconditioning, and the processing of important information.

For the past few years I have needed to consult many psychedelic online forums for a very wide array of topics. about 10 months ago I first encountered the nexus. DMT nexus has been by far my best resource for essential information on psychedelic topics. Opposed to other forums, I feel that there is little ambiguity in the information posted. I also feel as if there is, in some sense, a feeling of community here.

I dont know exactly what you are looking for to qualify someone as a member but i hope that I have enough experience to qualify as one. Among the entheogens i have explored, i have used the same model as i did for cannabis when I was younger: Lots of research and enough use to know what is best for myself. At this point I know of just about every psychedelic that is accessible, obscure chemicals im unfamiliar with(things like Bromo-DragonFLY). I have repeated experience with things like LSD, LSA, Salvia, DMT, Mescaline, 2c's and Psilocybin. I have many questions to be asked and conversely, much input on these topics. I am ready to join the discussion and share my experiences.

P.S. I love doing extractions. I have extraction experience with salvia, MHRB, cannabis(BHO), and a few other plants.

I also have some experiance with amanitas and other ethnobotanicals.

You mention DMT, did you try oral DMT / ayahuasca too?

I have only smoked DMT but I Plan to try pharmahuasca sometime soon. I always have wanted to join a forum like this but was stopped because I had no idea how safe it was to post information like this. Im just curious about what is allowed to be posted. Is there anything specifically that I should use words like SWIM for? could I get in trouble for talking about personally ingesting drugs? I did take a look at the additude page and would like to say that i really dig the emphasis on factual statements and safety. Oh yeah, I completely forgot to say how much I enjoy the files, links, and wisdom section of the website. you guys have so many amazing free resources! This is honestly one of the greatest websites on the internet.
