I'm planning on trying snorting in the future, probably with fumarate. I've hardly ever tried snorting things, but I'm willing to deal with the burn, at least for trying it once. However, it would be nice not to have to worry about that, and it occurred to me to use some sort of topical anesthetic before snorting. Any thoughts? Has anyone tried this before?

I was thinking something like this:
Lidocaine Nasal Spray
or
Vasocaine Tattoo Numbing Ointment (says it's safe for all broken skin procedures, so I'm guessing it would be okay for up the nose too?)

Be attentive to your body specially if its more than a one-time thing, tough, you dont wan't to damage yourself and not notice it because of what you used to anaesthetize/numb your nose.

So after trying my first insuflation with fumarate weekend before last, let me chime in. I did about 85-90mg over 45 minutes 10mg at a time switching nostrils each blast. I'm no nooby to snorting things, but this was just uncomfortable. Yeah, I got through it, and yeah I didn't get a nose bleed or some major problem, but the burn over 45 minutes sucked. If I had done any more at one time, the burn would have been REALLY annoying and absolutely not worth it.

Next time I try, I'm going to dissolve it in saline nose spray as recommended by someone on here...

Thanks for the links to those threads, endlessness! And good point about being attentive - I suppose pain is really just a natural warning mechanism, and therefore not necessarily good to ignore/cover up. I'll keep that in mind
