REPORT

Probed
Weds 23rd May 2012

I’d been planning on taking a journey for a couple of weeks now but this week I was a little down in the dumps so I decided the idea of dissolving the world and becoming infinity wasn’t the best of ideas, I had put it off 3 times in the last week, but tonight I was feeling good and ready. I had been out for an after work climbing session and it had lifted my mood considerably so I felt that tonight was the night. I got home at about 9.30, grabbed some scran, watched a bit of TV and scanned the Nexus for some inspiration.

I have recently had a little break from my meditation practise, well in all honesty I had completely deviated from my new path, I had reverted back to type and I don’t like it, DMT has the immense power to inspire change and improvement in my life but at the end of the day it is me who has to put in the work, DMT will show you the door but it is up to you to figure out how the locks work. Last week I got back on the course of self improvement. I sat for 25 mins and felt very calm and centred, in fact when the bells on my meditation timer chimed I nearly jumped out of my skin. I was now quite happy to take the plunge, the anxiety was there but it was at a very controllable level.

I arranged my pillows, sorted the duvet out and picked up the Genie. I applied the flame and began to inhale, after a second the thick white vapour began to fill the pipe and then started to seep into my every cell, just then the lighter failed, 2 quick clicks and it burst back into life and vaped the rest of the dose. I love my Genie, its immense, you get halfway through your hit and your all the way there, it is simply an epic occurrence of biblical proportions. I placed the Genie down and assumed the position, I was hidden under my trusty duvet as surely no matter what existence throws at me I will be good and safe beneath the duvet of absolute protection.

The meditation really pays off at the beginning of my journeys, it allows me to become my breath, it really does seem that in the grand scale of my true existence and pure consciousness that the only thing that is real is my breath, it is the only thing in my life that has remained constant, from birth to death all things about me will change, evolve and morph, but my breath will always remain a constant. I am my breath.

The annihilation of the self is an instantaneous event, when i meditate before a journey it is the first thing that happens to me before the madness begins.
This time was strange, I don’t have a big visual recollection of what happened, I remember thinking it hadn’t worked, or that my dose was to low, which may have meant it took me to a place similar to the places I normally inhabit, or that i had pickled myself good and proper and I had no idea of what was going on.
All of a sudden the carrier wave appeared from nowhere, but it was different. Normally when the wave is strong it seems to consume my soul, it stays at the same pitch and volume but also seems to increase in pitch and volume at the same time, on occasion it feels as if this sound is so powerful that it could destroy me, the vibration seems like it is about to scatter all that is left of “me” to the furthest reaches of the void. This time the wave was different, I had never felt it like this before, it was much more clinical, a single non changing unsettling tone, very experimental, and instead of consuming me it was being blasted directly through my ears into my consciousness, it didn’t shake my everything, it was concentrated into 1 specific place in my nonexistent being. I didn’t like it, it felt very strange in an unfriendly way. Normally it feels as if hyperspace says to me….

“check this out, isn’t it amazing”

as it fills me with the glorious all encumbering self destroying vibration of glory. This time it felt like I was captured, hyperspace screamed….

“GET HIM, HE NEEDS TO BE WORKED ON”.

I still had very few visuals, well certainly no strongly coloured or memorable ones, I was just in some kind of space. I could sense that there were other beings present, but they were not the entities of my normal journeys, they were a type of being I had never before encountered and they were keeping themselves hidden, but I knew they were there I could feel them.

The entities I have encountered so far have been generally nice or maybe mischievously naughty, but never unpleasant. These beings were more sterile, there was no love, there was just a cold sense of surgical precision, there was something being done to me and I was starting to freak out a little. It wasn’t terrifying but I was uncomfortable with what was being done to me and I wanted out. I quickly opened my eyes and instantly the carrier wave stopped and for a split second I got myself together, I was still freaked out but seeing my calm, empty, dark room helped settle me a little. I closed my eyes once again and was deposited straight back to the same place, I was dumped back onto the slab, the carrier wave was once again blasting my head like a vibrating scalpel of doom and the unseen insectoid beings continued to operate, probe or scan me.

Eventually the experience faded and I was back in my room, I was still freaked out but I was very glad it was over, all I could think was....

“I didn’t like that, that was horrible, why would I ever wanna do DMT again, why would the glory have abandoned me. Im not sure I will ever do DMT again, EVER”.

Of all my journeys this was the only one I have not enjoyed.
Then I thought....

“that was weird, DMT really is odd, ooooooh that was freaky, im not sure I liked that at all.”

Then....

“well it was weird, but what did it mean? what can I take from this? why was I dealt this hand?”

Then I looked over at the Genie,

“hmmmmmmmm, I wonder what would happen if I just loaded up one more dose????.”

Ugh, I don't like those sorts of ex[eriences, a few times I have felt something poking around in my consciousness, not many visuals to speak of, no communication, just SOMETHING having a gander at my most private of privates... What if it's the government agencies, maaan?! Shocked

fear not, im sending in Mama Aya tomorow night to sort them out, she dont take no guff and she has a new batch of hamala heavy changa to beat them down with.

the things thats weird, and quite funny to me, is that i was dead against ever doing it again for about 2 mins, then i decided there must be a rematch, i guess thats the danger of psychonautical adventuring you are gonna have to take the rough with the smooth.

I know the feeling too well Laughing It never keeps me away for that long how ever. I have been on a bit of a sabbatical recently - about a month or so, but the itch is getting stronger by the day. Feeling the need for a good strong dose to clean the old clocks and help me lay off the weed for a bit. I'm hoping for a spot of cosmic oneness over brain prodding though, but as with all things DMT, expectations are bunk. I'll shut up now. Surprised

i dont think "normal" DMT journeys exist and weird things seem to happen everytime.

This was just a little freakier/darker than i usually get, but it was bound to happen eventually, 1 unpleasant one in a year is ok with me.

Yeah, it's normal DMT.

1 unpleasant in a year is something to congratulate for (depending of course on frequency of use)

i just meant not normal for the types of journeys i have been given so far.

i have had some journeys where horrible stuff has happened to me, but they always seemed ok, stuff like being trapped in a burning house and not being able to move or being on fire, being treated by paramedics while slumped in the corner of a room and the whole dying thing ect, you know the normal weird DMTness, this one just seemed to effect me differently.

i will have to see what happens later, im holding out for a trip back to glory.

I know this feeling, once I had very weird nightmarish journey and I knew if I didn't smoke another identical dose it would haunt me for a week or two(the time between smoking sessions), then I did and it felt like a victory, like the spice was saying "nice job going through the test".

BTW beings probing a person while on DMT has been reported on the nexus before, I've had the sense too.

Sorry, I think I may have come across wrong, I know the probing thing has happened to many before, I think the strange thing for me was how I reacted to it, I've been in worse situations and felt OK but this time i felt a little freaked out.

I shall see tonight, I think the phrase is 'fortune favours the brave', well I hope so anyway

My wife has been to a very clinical lab/doctors office setting before after vaping 25mg... not threatening but very cold and uncomfortable. Set/setting were all good, so... These things do happen. You've had a good run so far and this one didn't seem to contain any warnings, so... Happy Aya, have fun!

Cheers Guyomech, to be honest I have been expecting a journey like this, it felt a little over due.

This stuffs clearly not all fun and games and I think we all need that reminder now and again, its good to be kept on your toes

This has almost always worked for me with these kinds of experiences. I agree, it does feel like a victory. It usually feels to me like I've just broke through a big mental blockage and cleared out my head.
Some of my best experiences were right on the tail of a bad one.

Congrats on your aftermath, mate. Looks like you are doing right.

And remember, nothing like pain to make you fully experience pleasure. Both are to be experienced. It's not a judgement, it's just life.
