i've had one that i can remember. to further explain; the title means have you ever had a vision and you didn't just eat shrooms or drink aya etc. just a vision that you remember but you don't remember how you got there. i had a dualistic vision once that i don't remember how i got there.

one time i saw a red on the left, blue on the right. divided by a wavy line. the red was composed of (it's been a while i hope i can elaborate well) things associated with suffering and heat like things eating each other and other "bad" things. the blue was composed of cooler temps and fluid watery things that were much more "chill" if you will. i instantly thought "whoah... that red looks way shittier than the blue" and (instantly at the thought of "red" i shot into the red) as i shot into the red i was like oh shit. after that i don't remember anything.

to conclude, anyone ever have any visions that they don't remember how they got there?

sorry but the wording is a bit confusing to me. So are you asking if anyone's ever had visions without ingesting anything psychoactive? and/or they don't remember what happened leading up to the visions?

I guess i know what you mean. Sometimes in 'sober' meditation i'll have visions but its very harmala-esque leading up to it and i don't realize whats happening sometimes until i begin to snap out of it. This is a very common thing with ayahuasca. You'll be in a trance and off in some totally other realm, but sometimes you won't realize it, and then when you do it quickly fades and you're pulled out of it

well if you remember ingesting something it wouldn't count. i have no recollection of what led to this vision. for any visions to be applicable to this thread one must not remember how they got there. does that answer your question?

what i'm saying is if you remember having taken anything psychoactive it isn't applicable to this thread. and if it was from meditation it also doesn't apply.

in an effort to answer your question. the visions i'm asking about it is the ones that you remember but don't remember how you got there. (if you remember meditating to the point of the vision or ingesting something and seeing it, it doesn't count)

I guess they could be down to the DMT, harmalas and other compounds that the brain/body creates itself.
