Hello everybody,
My name is Tom and my introduction to the world of psychoactive chemicals came through the use of Retalin at the age of 7. Since those young days my curiosity in this magical world has continued to grow and through the ages I found myself moving away from those horrible synthetics, towards the beautiful powers contained within the ethnobotanicals that share this world with us. As a result of the above my curiosity has led me to study both neuroscience and pharmacology at university. Through my experiences I have found the potential of these substances to be great teachers in life and love and believe education in these realms to be of vital importance to man & women. Through conversation and guidance I try to open the minds of my fellow man to the potentials at hand and try to remove the vail that has been cast over these forces of nature by governments and 'modern' society. I seek to learn and share whenever I can. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

ૐ Peace ૐ

Welcome to the nexus. What kind of entheogens have you used? What were your experiences and opinions? Please, feel free to share a little more about yourself.

I am only 20 years old and as a result I have plenty of time to dive deeper into particular areas of psychoactive plants and as a result have taken a relaxed approach going for breath rather then depth at this point. My first experience in psychedelics came with LSD at the age of 15, this is what I am most experienced with. Since then I have taken a few varieties of mushrooms, salvia, angles trumpet, DMT, morning glory seeds, HBWR, some home made opium extract pills and nightshade. To this day I have mainly focused on the science behind the effects, pharmacodynamics/kinetics and neurotransmitter systems involved as experience will come with time.
My experiences have all helped me learn about my self and my relationships with others. Mainly how malleable my reality can be and that I dictate how I view the things I experience. Though this may seem obvious to some, acid and shrooms really hit this home for me. Its hard to describe my experiences as I'm sure you'll understand, every one is so different and intense that i feel i can only truly remember my experiences once I am under the effects. Though I can remember them visually I find it hard to put my experiences into words, all that I can share after are a string of knowings and memories of feelings that i can apply to my waking life.
I'm in the middle of my first STB extraction which Is going well, though its been rather difficult to find the appropriate equipment here where I am situated. Its progressing slowly, but well. I have a little garden as well but the only entheogens growing there are my Morning Glories, my next will be to grow some san pedro.

ૐ Peace ૐ

Welcome to the Nexus!

Are you also interested in oral DMT/ayahuasca? What is your favorite setting for taking psychedelics?

Oh and, one detail, maybe when you write over a certain amount of words, try breaking it up into a couple of paragraphs for easier reading Smile

Be well!

Depends on the psychedelic, however I find an out door setting suits every situation. With LSD, LSA & shrooms I enjoy packing a bag of water and going for a hike with no more then 2 other people in the alps or other scenic areas. Its also important to venture off on your own and have some 'me' time for a while. For DMT alone and darkness is my thing, dark room or on top of a hill under the stars. I also enjoy humming to myself and making noises, formulating them into a song while on smaller dosages of spice.

I am very interested in ayahuasca, I've been thinking about getting some Pharma-ayahuasca to avoid the taste at first but the full brew is definitely an aspiration for the future.

Ah, the taste is the best bit! I am not lying.

(I may be lying) Laughing

Seriously though, some have apparently acquired the taste. (Note to self - must drink MOAR)

Very happy Thanks, I guess once you become more experienced with the psychoactive effects induced by ayahuasca you relate the taste to the experience and it can become rather comforting and enjoyable as it brings a flood of memories of whats about to come. I had this with mushrooms.
