hi, im about to get an 1/8 of golg cap mushys and i was wondering if i smoke dmt while im on shrooms if it will have a more profound effect? (i always eat a full 1/8 soaked in lemon juice for 20min and im gone for 3-4hrs )

Short answer-

Yes.


Long answer-

If by profound you mean 100 times more intense and visual than mushrooms could ever be on their own then I would say Yes..most definitely.

I find DMT can put a more focussed headspace into a mushroom journey.

Even after the DMT effects would usually wear off, I still have one foot left in the more profound.

this is a very common misconception about mushrooms. They are so unbelievably underrated.

Take enough in the dark and you can literally breakthrough. Only it can last for a really loonnggg time

but yea obviously smoking dmt at that point will propel you deep into the abyss

I can tell you there are mushrooms out there that will put you in hyperpspace.

They can be just as profound in high doses, and intense.

On one pretty intense journey, I didn't breakthrough but on my come-up I had hyperspace visuals and even saw/felt an angelic entity. Very similar to a sub-breakthrough dose smoked.

It would definitely be a really intense experience but the questions is, why add the confusion coming from shrooms to the 'pure' effect of DMT?

Psilocybin comes with a confusion effect that accompanies the insightfulness and visuals whereas DMT is even more profound without the confusion.

The shrooms confusion seems so at the time, but evens out with integration, to understanding/.... if dmt is instant clarity it seems the 2 are somewhat similar/ but incompatible "timewise"??

hmm.. I have experienced all the same confusion from DMT(especially oral) durring the comeup as I have with mushrooms.

I dunno about this whole "DMT is instant clarity and psilocybin is confusion" thing. Sounds more like someones subjective interpretation than anything else. You are going to tell me you have never been confused after smoked DMT? Smoke more then. I can't think of anything more confusing than the state right before ego death as the ego fights for it's life. It happens with psilocybin, it happens with ayahuasca and it happens with DMT..for me anyway..

The clarity comes once you pass that stage usually.

Smoke the DMT near the end or after the mushroom peak.

BTW, they are *very* compatable.

my birthday is Saturday.. im getting 2 hits of good lsd, 1/8 of shrooms, and i already have 40mg of dmt... what should i mix?

well i have deffinitely experienced extreme confusion with fungus, but I have also experienced absolute clarity with them as well. The confusion was when i was younger, took too much, couldnt even begin to understand wtf was going on lol. My last couple of trips (which were all over a year ago) I didnt experience as much confusion. I think this is because I am more experienced and comfortable with them now, and also I have started ingesting the mushrooms via tea (i dont know if this actually makes a difference or if its just me but it feels cleaner and less confusing this way). Knock on wood lol, planning to trip for the first time in over a year here in about a week so well see how "experienced" i really am. I really try to be careful with that kind of thinking, mushrooms dont take kindly to cocky attitudes i have found.

To get back on subject though, after the peak of a good trip I usually have mixed feelings. On one hand its good to be back on earth or at least on your way there, on the other hand I wish I could just go back to the peak and the beauty for a while. So I think in this state some change might be pretty awesome.
A question though, what if while you were coming down from the fungus instead of just smoking dmt you did some maoi with changa to prolong the effects a bit instead of just blasting yourself into the ether all at once?
