What have you read in the forum or hear people speaking incorrectly regarding entheogenic substances?

Often it may be because a person does not have english as their first language, or has typed fast and may not be picky about spelling, and while I do think all that matters is that the message is understood, I also think its important that we know the spelling of the important processes and chemicals we deal with, in the very least to help our researches. Also be able to communicate technically with others, and not embarrass ourselves when buying products.

So, here's some examples of the correct words and their common misspellings:

Fumarate: Furmate, Fumerate, Fumerete, Fumarete,

Fumaric: Fumeric

MAOI: MOAI

Naphtha: Naptha, Naphta, Nafta

Here in Finland we usually call naphtha as nafta so thats a common reason for misspelling. What usually tick me off are saying "with" as "whit" and incorrect uses of Your and You're Smile
If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't.

CosmicFool is a fictional character, a creation of imagination, and everything written above should not be taken seriously, or perhaps read at all.

I think much of this comes from people typing really quickly and sometimes misspelling some words rather then ignorance, but yes I agree that it could be important that, when regarding the explanation of certain processes and chemicals it can be important.

Greetings from the UK, I love Finland. I have a Finnish wife who I love very much - might even move there one day - plus when I get back to the UK after visiting, I really miss the sauna! Have learned a few Finnish words and phrases, but it's a tough language to learn I find! Smile

I have always thoughtt smaolk was an elision of smoke and alkaloid, and moar an elision of more and maoi (i know, probably coined by a dyslexicSmile ), but that's undoubtedly just my overactive cunnilinguistic imagination. I mean, i mean...

JBArk
JBArk is a Mandelthought; a non-fiction character in a drama of his own design he calls "LIFE" who partakes in consciousness expanding activities and substances; he should in no way be confused with SWIM, who is an eminently data-mineable and prolific character who has somehow convinced himself the target he wears on his forehead is actually a shield.
