this evening i plan to do a psychedelic during the Pleiades eclipse, and am still rather unsure which to use. ive used syrian rue to a great extent, consumed trial (and trivialish) amounts of mushrooms, and never taken dmt. boiling the rue at this point might be a close call actually, boiling for 5 instead of 6 hours, but its the psychedelic i am most comfortable with (despite wretched taste). i am curious about mushrooms, but do, to a degree, dread the hangover tomorrow. i fear dmt, but for its short duration and low side effects its extremely conveniant.
ive been planning my experiance to be with mushrooms, since it would require the most preparation (besides physically preparing rue tea).
any advice for someone venturing out further than they have before?
also, between DMT and Psilocybin, i have been told that they are relatively similar, and also that they are magnitudes different. i hear and read much about the psychedelic experiances of them, but sometimes i find theres very little to tie them together.
on (injected or smoked) dmt do you see the alien, and on mushrooms do you merely talk to them? on my trial amounts of mushrooms, who im talking to often seems to simply be myself, but a self whos better at problem solving than ordinarily.
in ayahuasca preparations with dmt, its experianced in a gentler fashion, as if in a lower altitude but for a longer time. is this very much like mushrooms except half length and double the onset time? both appear, in strong doses, to be like a dmt flash when you close your eyes for long enough. and terance mckenna said that psilocybin is close to an orally active dmt.
and one final question, the one time i had mushrooms with syrian rue, it just put me to sleep. i feel like i smoked to calm nausea far too early, and this may have caused that. but with mushrooms alone, does anyone have trouble staying awake, when taken at night?
thanks for reading!
