This really nails it Bindu. This is obvious even within this lifetime... when you put your karma, your work, aside for even a couple of years, it eventually comes back to you. If there's anything that DMT would show us, it's that ideas like reincarnation and life after death of the physical body should be taken at least a little seriously. That being said, what Bindu said raises a serious concern... suicide achieves nothing.

The fact that so many active, high contributing people are responding to this thread in a responsible way, treating it as a genuinely important issue, makes me happy Very happy

If you would ask most people who were suicidal and got over it, you would see that they think that they made the right choice and are glad they didn't do it. It's not a solution.

Most people yes, but I did know a dear old gentleman who went his own way, it was his solution Sad
When my time comes I will hopefully have that choice too Thumbs up

I suspect Pacho is seeking answers to his/her life and looking to DMT to either confirm his beliefs and ideas, and/or be open to learn some new ones ?
Possibly even testing the depth of the Nexus. I would like to direct Pacho to this very good thread

Few successful suiciders talk about it before hand.
Thumbs up

One particular hyperspace entity (a translucent purple bat named Joe de Mendez) once told me, that when you commit suicide, you will just wake up and restart the day at which you committed it.

To voice a morbid interest in the subject will naturaly worry most folks here, and the good intentioned advice coming from experienced members is to be expected. as it's in everyones interest on the forum.

But really, all this patronising " suicide is for losers" "It's a cop out" "" Life is wonderful" bull, could be dispensed with. How would that sound to someone in the late stages of a terminal illness, where they had perhaps decided enough is enough? Or take that advice to ethnic communities where voluntary suicide of elder members of a nomadic tribe has been going on for thousands of years? (ie. Eskimo).

Briefly, it's comforting for me to know the option is there as a last resort. Only I need to keep that litlle secret to myself and never ask others for compliance in facilitating or justifying it.

It's all good friend, you sound that you might be blessed with youth, it preoccupied me when I was in my twenties, and I can tell you, there was no way I would have used halucinogenics during that phase of my life. But 15 years later I am no longer "that person I was".

Sorry to rain on your parade buddy but there is no such thing as death, your "life" will continue on in the same fashion as when you find yourself in a dream you're simply continuing along, there isn't some form of gap or new beginning. The only difference is you will now be dealing with the karmic debt of taking a living Life. Not a good idea.
It was the fabled year 2012. Within the seemingly doomed and feeble slave-species of homo-sapien sapien a minute percentage began experimenting with various forms of psycho-active plant allies and thought manifestation techniques. Unbeknownst to them, this would be the birthing of a new sub-species, the highest form of Life in the universe. With the assistance of these timeless plant teachers a new race was born, a race without boundaries, physical or mental, a race without judgement or violence. Divinity had descended upon the inconspicuous planet of Earth and cosmic-man was born.

I absolutely agree with everyone who recommends that you steer clear of psychedelics for now.

All my hyperspace journeys, good or bad, tell me, in one way or another, the same thing: life is beautiful, precious, miraculous, a gift, a great journey. An unparalleled existence opportunity.

Then why the recommendation to steer clear of psychedelics?

And Ufo: you are absolutely not in absolute control of your perceptions !

Also by posting here, the OP is actually dealing with the issue, and I don't think he's looking for the 'go see a doctor' kind of advice. Whenever I check a health forum, at least half the replies are always "go see a doctor', regardless of what the issue is. Useless ! Just like 'life is a miracle', 'the sky is blue' and 'happiness is being happy' and 'you should go to a party'

Ive been there friend Sad and suicidal thoughts suck. Take some herbals like st johnswort and some fish oil. Working out will help a ton. The key to staying on top of the thoughts is to realise that their is a polar opposite feeling to what ever you might be feeling now, all you have to do is find it. If that means doing something radical like traveling or dropping everything to pursue a new interest then you should go for it!

Anyone ever get information in hyperspace about it? Just curious.

the first time i tried dmt i was mentally fragile. i was in a state of depression after a series of unexpected events and had spent a little over two months in a psychiatric hospital after a failed attempt at suicide. although i made quite a bit of progress during my stay, much of it was a front in order to shorten my stay. i was released with a diagnosis of severe depression and a multitude of pills to numb the pain. since im not a fan of western medicine, the pills went in the trash and my medicine was a journal. i carried it with me and wrote down all my thoughts. although it helped, i was still depressed. the dmt came suddenly. i was visiting a close friend and we started our usual philosophical conversations. the conversation steered towards spiritual, and eventually dmt was brought up. as fate would turn out, he had a small amount in his possession that was being saved for this very occasion.

i personally feel the subconscious makes itself visible when psychedelics are ingested, and if youre mentally unstable i recommend staying away from them. dmt was different though. i see it as a healer of many mental troubles. during the stay at my friends house, i was able to visit hyperspace many times. one of my visits addressed the issue of suicide through a vision. i saw a being trapped inside of a box. i feel this box represented our reality. this being was desperately trying to escape the box but was unable to. out of desperation i saw this being commit the act of suicide. although this being was no longer alive, the energy was still there, trapped inside of the box unable to escape. i then saw another being inside this box. death came unexpected for this one, piercing through the box it was trapped in. the unexpected force of death caused the box to explode, letting the energy escape freely, no longer bound to the confines of the box.

the act of suicide is self fulfilled, the foreknowledge prevents death from unexpectedly shattering through your reality. although your physical body is no longer present, your energy is still trapped in your box of problems. death does free us, but is only able to when done on its own time.. thats my belief at least.

Hey Pachuco brother im not sure you have even tried Psychedelics yet aye?

What was the main interest regarding the question?

Do you feel depressed bro.

or are you just enticed by the process of life to death?

I know in South America death is embraced as a people and that the users of Ayahuasca had a very different outlook on death compared to western views.

I guess sometimes I forget that the truths I've been exposed to don't apply to everyone else's experience and I speak of them as common knowledge. Not trying to be dogmatic. I'll watch myself.
