First off I'm not trying to get into any CT's here but the only information I could find was definitely CT related.

I'm just looking for a serious explanation of what the hell I saw just now.

I went outside at about 3:30pm today and I saw a jet with contrail behind it, nothing new. Then I noticed there was a black line right beside the contrail, I was like wow I've never seen that before so I started looking at it trying to figure out what it might be. At first I thought it was probably just a shadow from the contrail. My wife was also looking at it and told me to put on her sunglasses because she could see it really good with them on, when I did I saw that the shadow and the contrail had merged, I thought that it was just the glasses but then my wife said "wow they just went together!"

I took off the glasses and in fact they had merged. I was still thinking that it must just be a shadow that changed position until I looked up and saw that the dark line was going past the jet and there was no contrail in front of it. The jet was to the left of the sun and the dark line extended all the way under the sun and far to the right of the sun.

Then something really weird happened, the dark line started moving quickly out of the contrail and to the left of it then it vanished....

So to summarize, the dark line was to the right of the jet and its contrail extending past the jet and sun then it quickly moved into and through the contrail to the left until it disappeared. Also there was no wind and the little clouds there were and the contrail did not move at all.

What the hell did I see?

That sounds mysterious.. I couldn't really get a clear picture of the scene in my head, also what kind of a black line was it? Thick, thin, linear, even? You could find a picture of a contrail and photoshop the line on it and upload here... Also, was the quick movement something that looked intelligent? Or was it just like an optical illusion that shifts away at a certain angle? I'm way too curious now

It was a little thinner than the contrail of a jet shortly after it comes off the jet and it was perfectly even with no inconsistencies in the width throughout. The movement definitely looked unnatural that was the real wtf moment for me. It stayed completely parallel with the contrail the entire time it was moving and I was stationary the whole time I viewed it.

So here is a crappy gif of it, obviously it was a lot smoother and it was much slower as well but the whole thing lasted about 30-40 seconds.

Try posting this on an aviation forum or a weather forum or something like that perhaps if you've no luck here.

DMTtripn2Space, that was the forum I mentioned in the OP but seeing as how it is a CT site I couldn't really validate it. The first post in that forum resonates with what I saw especially the second picture and the yellow text under it.

Jen, I'll try that but I assume I will get an answer somewhere along the lines of " it's just a shadow". I can safely say that I have NEVER seen a shadow that moves independently of the object it is cast from or the sun.

Yeah. This is all beyond me. I'll see the occasional chemtrails over my property..but nothing like that. Soooo weird. I hope someone can validate whats going here in these instances.

Er....it is 2012 right? For me, this world was full of weirdness, fortean events and things that I just could not explain--back in the 80's. Nowadays it's just a titty bit more intense, with climate change, occupy/martial law, 7 billion people on this planet, mysterious noises heard round the world, ect. I can't saw what these black chemtrails might be, but I would not be at all be suprised if the answer was something way beyond "just a shadow".
