I could easily do it today, but still don´t know...hahaWink

Just my opinion, but if you are already in the Amazon it seems now would be a good time to drink, I hope you enjoy your journey regardless though!

Good quality Syrian rue (Peganum harmala) for an incredible price!

Boy I love hearing from you guys. Being the only person I know that even knows what ayahuasca is makes forums like these all the more valuable. Hearing from like-minded folks is a beautiful thing!

I'm of the opinion that what the "psychedelic" experience is in general is an opportunity for healing the mind/body/soul interaction via plant/animal/ancestor spirits. I was completely unaware of this though, until I found the vine. I think most people that work with it come to realize that ayahuasca is all about healing. Its certainly given me a more shamanically-oriented point of view of the whole issue. Once you have that mentality, the journey becomes 'real'. It goes from entertainment/recreation/kicks to very serious business.

Just my 2 cents!

Peace

The visuals et cetera I consider a bonus. To me, psychedelics have always been about healing and mind expansion. While I don't have anything about using them for fun, to me that seems to be as a gross misuse of these very powerful tools.
This is the time to really find out who you are and enjoy every moment you have. Take advantage of it.

I came for the trip and ended up staying for the healing.

I may be wrong, but I believe this guy talks about himself or somebody in his ceremony recovering their hearing that had been lost for years. Regardless, it's a fascinating story: http://www.youtube.com/w...5&feature=plpp_video

And I definitely use ayahuasca and psychedelics in general for healing and self-improvement, but for me the visions are absolutely part of the healing. During my best ayahuasca experience, every aspect of my being was expanded and perfected to the deepest degree. My emotional spectrum was so enormous and deep. My memory, intelligence, and imagination were equally expanded. Same goes for my physical self, which felt universal. But my visions and dreams were also so amazingly powerful and intricate, and they were a very important part of the overall experience.

I was rolling around in my personal heaven, healed on deeper levels than I ever knew existed. Perhaps the most important thing I took from it all, though, were my visions and dreams. By being physically/spiritually shown how beautifully life can be experienced, while simultaneously being shown my interconnection to everyone/everything, it became clear that we're all part of one big thing, and I can't be "healed" for good until everybody else can get there as well. And for me, heaven ain't complete unless it's beautifully and perfectly evolving on every level, and one really cool aspect of that is how it's beheld from each perspective, so playfully getting lost in our fantasies and chasing our visions is one way of creating novelty and bringing new possibilities into the world. Healing where we are is important, and it absolutely happens without visions, but I feel like the visions are part of healing where we're going, which is also important.

I came for learning... to see what the vine could show me, about myself, about the world... I didn't come so much for personal healing, but to gain knowledge so that we can heal the planet, heal each other. However, getting those lessons via tripping balls (pardon the french) was, IMO, the best format possible!

Transcendence and understanding. I have nothing to heal and this goes beyond just a "trip."
It was the fabled year 2012. Within the seemingly doomed and feeble slave-species of homo-sapien sapien a minute percentage began experimenting with various forms of psycho-active plant allies and thought manifestation techniques. Unbeknownst to them, this would be the birthing of a new sub-species, the highest form of Life in the universe. With the assistance of these timeless plant teachers a new race was born, a race without boundaries, physical or mental, a race without judgement or violence. Divinity had descended upon the inconspicuous planet of Earth and cosmic-man was born.

It was a good time to drink!. I came out of curiosity, and found a medicine that is steeped in a tradition which involved other people participating, and enjoyed the fact that Aya is respected in Peru as a medicine and artform.

I found drinking Ayahuasca in Peru to be a fascinating, sociable, healing, and trippy experience. Something definately worth repeating. Rolling eyes

Thanks OM
Im so glad that so many of us are kicking up the same dirt on this planet.
I came because i lost faith in so many things, with great saddness and anger .
It was a calling like no other i have had, to understand loss of good friends, and why my world made me sick.
of how so many treated others in short i became a bullys worst nightmare, along with ending up homeless as a kid,i was just soo lost,i have risked my life for so many years trying to build courage and strength.

I found Dmt and with the help of so many here,I was able to find the spirit i felt i had lost.
i had locked myself into only winning at everything i did and could just not face losing to anything.
all of that changed i still like to win,but not my only goal anymore.

i found love, happiness, and a understanding everything is going to be ok,unlike any church could show me.
I just wanted my heartache to stop,to believe in something? anything? again.
I found it here with the help of the nexens, to make sure my heart was right i quit smoking after 30 yrs...cold
Because i wanted nothing to get in the way of my lesson or taint it, i never could quit before? not sure why this did the job.

i have not done aya yet but will as soon as i can truly give it the respect and time it needs, i work too much.
But i thank you for putting into words what i want to see from the nexens i respect so much.
the healing is what i seek, and willing to do whatever it takes to feel this understanding..
I got some work to do but im truly trying<3 you guys fill my heart with hope, for that is no small task, and i thank you...keep up the great work<3 and again thank you....Oden
