Where nothing seems to go right?

My partner wanted to have a go tonight, I have been sick for the last week with a nasty cough. Mostly better now but the cough is lingering so I decided I was not going to. Anyway, I load up a cone for him, notice my lighter is about dead, so I set down the pipe on my table to refill the lighter. A few seconds after I set it down it tips over and spills on the carpet. Ok, no big deal, just a dose. I load another.

A few mins later I walk by a table where I have vial of 800mg sitting and catch my dress on it and spill about 600 of it on the carpet.. -_-

Spend the next 15 mins trying to get a bit of it out and managed to save about 100... lol Was pretty bummed to begin with, but lesson learned. Keep lid on spice.
About 30 mins later I go to load a cone of caapi, set the bag down on my lap which then flips over and spills about 100mg irrecoverably into the carpet.

Tonight just is not my night! lol

That's quite unfortunate. The other day I went to light the GVG (I had just had a disappointing journey in hyperspace, and was determined to take another one mid-flight), and the lighter goes out, so I go down two flights of stairs to get the butane, refill the lighter, go back up the two flights only to realize that none of the lighter fluid actually made it inside the lighter and it's still dead so I have to go all the way back down and up to repeat the process.

I'm not sure how you tried to gather the 800mg off the carpet, but some advice for next time (if you didn't already do it) is that playing cards can work wonders in retrieving spice off the floor. I actually remembered the first time I smoked spice (it wasn't mine), and my friend had spilled my dose all over the floor. Luckily I asked if he had playing cards and we managed to retrieve just about all of it even though it was a shaggy carpet.

That's a horrible series of events, I suggest you do an A/B on your carpet to extract the remaining alks, whatever you do don't throw anything away

How about, getting rid of the carpet for the future. ^_^

I used a razor, unfortunately it didn't land in a nice pile and was spread out over a good 3-4 inches very thinly.. A majority of it was immediately consumed by the carpet monster. I actually did consider pouring some vinegar on the spot to soak up with some paper towels but decided that it was probably not worth it.. lol

You don't know how much I wish I had hardwood floors in my living room.. ;p

That's a pretty frustrating night and you didn't even start. Luckily you hadn't taken it and then dropped it because that would have been much worse.

Did the same thing a few months back. And I have a large hairy dog. So- what I pulled back up was mixed with dog fur. Not good, had to throw it out. But stuff like that happens. Heck- the other day I tripped on the cord for my extreme G vaperizer and snapped the ceramic unit right in half. Just brought the thing last year for $180. sad.

The spice is small, valuable, delicate. Try keeping most of your stash in a sealed vial, then a half dozen doses in another small "working" vial. That way, while fumbling in the dark or whatever, the worst that can happen is a small spill.
