and I don't think I'll ever change this lonely, boring life but do you think the afterlife/hyperspace life will compensate? (when I get there naturally)

I can't say anything about the afterlife and I don't think anyone else truly can either, but in regards to hyperspace my answer would be, for my own experience, no... it doesn't help with being lonely and bored. I'm often very bored and very lonely, even when I'm around people I often still feel lonely. I had thought (naively) that perhaps DMT would make a good escape from reality and maybe give me some insight into "deeper" things. It didn't. I had some great experiences but also some that really confused and scared me, and in terms of getting any insight or answers I found I was just presented with more questions, riddles. Very glad to have had the experiences and I'll probably have many more (on a break just now after a particularly odd experience) but I don't think it is really an answer to boredom/loneliness, in my humble opinion/experience the chances seem quite high that going into it from a negative mental state such as loneliness/boredom is likely to result in some troubling experiences. Amongst the people I know who took it I think the ones who enjoyed it most were the ones who were already quite content and productive in their day to day lives.

I know this sounds both obvious and preachy, but I'll say this anyway: you need to work on your attitude!

I've never loved all of humanity that much, can be cynical, feel like I'm surrounded by sleepwalking sheep... Been there, I know how you feel. And how that changed for me (and it did, very much so, although I still keep distance from humanity) was a long journey that I won't even begin to bore you with. But a change of attitude is possible.

Did you know that life is an unparalleled experience opportunity? Priceless actually. You really need to try harder to make the most of yours. We don't know if our individual souls have an afterlife, but if they do, our experience there will be colored by our attitude, same as here.

I'm sure you are aware of your good qualities, and know you're a likable individual who should be having more fun. So what's stopping you?

I really resonate with Guyomech on this one.

I personally have gone through intense phases of feeling alone, and felt the rest of society just didn't get it (sheep). I used a lot of psychedelics looking for like, an escape, or some answer. And in a way psychs did lead me to the answer, but only because they never gave me one.

I eventually realized the only way to deal with my particular loneliness, was to start enjoying 100 percent of my life. No matter what your current situation is, you can change it. If you don't like something in your day to day life, you have within you the power to change it. One hundred percent. 180 degrees. If your bored, get up, go out, do something. This is the time when it feels most like staying in or not putting forth the effort, but its exactly the time you need to.

Since I realized this and started making concentrated efforts to enjoy more of my real reality, I was bored far less often. And my spice trips have been far more insightful.

"Reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistant one"-Albert Einstein

The answer to life is not 42, It is 37. The flawed 42 was derived from a mistake in calculating the quantum flux of a tenth dimensional hyperspacial wormhole. For proof of my math, please follow me in a nice chaotic line to the fifth dimension for a practical dissemination of the results.

I don't think there really is a clear solution to this one. Sure, you can distract yourself by thinking hey, I need to change this and that and after that life is gonna be good. But there's always gonna be something to change, and when you get tired of changing you're back at square one.

Sure, people went from being sad and lonely to being more or less content, but the advice they can give is pretty much what one can find in self-help /inspirational writings, and there's tons of that out there. Sure enough, we can hear something a million times and then, one day, without any special circumstances, it just clicks -we somehow 'get it', assimilate that wisdom, integrate it into our lives.

I believe meditation and, essentially, trying to be more in touch with yourself can precipitate this kind of 'light bulb' moments. Then again, depression and anxiety are recurrent conditions and a relapse is very likely given the right triggers.

That being said, it may be better to focus on accepting things as they are now and if a change happens, then go with it. But putting a lot of energy into making the change happen may only take you around in a circle.

As in 'wherever you go, there you are'

No point thinking about the after life and hyperspace if you aren't even content with your life here, there is work to do! Ask yourself, why are you lonely or feel like you are missing out? Maybe you are! Do what you can to make changes, THIS INCLUDES YOURSELF. Sometimes you gotta learn to accept and compensate and let go of things that just aren't realistic. Once you find you are slightly more content with this existence of yours (Hey that's a funny thing, I am NEVER content with this place, I think it's a joke, but I use that to drive me!) then you can start pondering WTF IS GOING ON HERE. Nobody can really tell you what you need- this is a personal adventure/trip through the balanced possibilities of the parameters given to our experimental universe. I know, it's LOL.

What makes you think this isn't the afterlife?
It was the fabled year 2012. Within the seemingly doomed and feeble slave-species of homo-sapien sapien a minute percentage began experimenting with various forms of psycho-active plant allies and thought manifestation techniques. Unbeknownst to them, this would be the birthing of a new sub-species, the highest form of Life in the universe. With the assistance of these timeless plant teachers a new race was born, a race without boundaries, physical or mental, a race without judgement or violence. Divinity had descended upon the inconspicuous planet of Earth and cosmic-man was born.

DMT, or any other psychedelic, shouldn't be used to escape reality.
But they can help you overcome your problems by making you see the
roots of them. But only if you want to make that confrontation.

I often find that if I ask a question in my mind whilst in DMT space
it is often immediately answered, given the question is relevant enough.
Often the answer is shown visually or is given telepathically, without words.

Being lonely and bored indeed has to do with a certain negative additude towards
life in general. DMT can show you the core of this, how you hold on to it and how to let go.

Chin up brother! Happiness comes from within as long as you're looking outside yourself you're feeding the sadness. I know it sounds cliche, but your positivity or negativity will definitely drag you along with it.

First of, by saying "I don't think i'll ever change this lonely, boring life" your setting yourself up in a not-so-positive direction. Just like the above said.. why are you lonely? ... why are you bored? You've got to stop yourself right there and ask yourself these questions. What are your hobbies/interests? Even just staying busy frees the mind to an extent..less worrying regarding thoughts you may be stuck on.

And to the second half of your question....NO...dmt/hyperspace/or any psychedelic WILL NOT compensate for something that you have to build in this life on your own. Imho psychedelics only point you in the general direction..they don't hold your hand nor they fix your existential issues..they simply ARE and they simply SHOW...that's all...the rest is all up to YOU.

And the afterlife..i'm not even going to pretend like I might know whats going to happen after all this is up..nor should you...live your life bro. Take care.

Do more for others, who you don't even know, for free... Worked for me.

Go volunteer somewhere and stop expecting the universe to keep entertaining you while you sit there and sulk without trying to ever put a smile on something elses face for no other reason than just because...

You sound like a moody 14yr old. I know it well Pleased

Find like-minded people in your area. You'll have to do a little sorting out but, metaphysical associations and the like are not a bad place to start.

I know how you feel man, sometimes it seems exceedingly difficult to find folks of the same nature to hang out with. Just don't give up. If you point yourself in a positive direction and just keep going, you'll get there. Don't let doubts derail your plan.

Short of the physical proximity factor, I'm sure many of the good people (myself included) would be keen to chat or correspond with you through this site... but you're going to have to make the effort and stay as positive as possible.

As always, peace & blessings.
