well the titles says it all, the search function is kind of iffy or I just don't know how to use it correctly. Im sure this subject has been covered extensively but I figured I'd ask since I also had another question too.

Do you think pre-numbing your nose with benzocaine, lidocaine or procaine would help reduce the sting from the dmt fumarate? I've never snorted fumarate so I don't know how bad it burns but the burn from dmt freebase was ridiculous(I did this a few years ago when I first started extracting dmt and know MUCH better now).

I know from smoking DMT right after chewing coca leaves that the numbness thing is really an unpleasant distraction from the trip..of course so is nasal pain...Of course that is just my take on it,

Hey what's up. I have extensive experience with 4-aco-dmt fumerate both regarding oral consumption as well as nasal. Obviously this is a different chem than the non 4-substitued version, but 4-aco-dmt fumerate doesn't burn in the slightest when insuffilated IME.. As for dosage, start low and work your way, you can always take more, but not less. Safe travels man!

Is there a difference between insufflating fumarate and freebase?

yes from what i've read and from experience with smnorting freebase, the freebase is burns extremely bad.

I've read mixed reports about the fumarate burn. Some say not at all, some say slight and other say it burns but not as bad as FB.

I did a little more searching and got the answer I was looking for about the fumarate burn but am still wondering if anyone has ever pre-numbed their nose to prevent any burn?

I got into snuffing fumerates for a while. Sometimes it worked really well other times it did not work that well..when it worked well it was a very nice trip, but there was still the burn.

After I snuffed one day and got the worst burn and then a nosebleed while starting to trip real hard I sort of backed away from that method for now.

I once looked into numbing my nose but didn't really follow through with trying to find a 'caine to use.

But I recall someone on these forums coming up with a way to use vinegar (converting a small amount of freebase to acetate form) and coconut cream to make a liquid you could drip into your nose.

i didnt know you can smoke fumerate, is this true?
if so booyea, does one need a torch lighter or will a bic work?

I really don't think smoking fumarate would be good for your lungs. And no one said anything about smoking it. Just snorting it.

i have 2 doses of dmt fumarate for i.v. I will now take the 40mg and report back on the total experience.

i will up the dosage over the next few days with a new report. i may have these posts put into their own sub forum if need be =]
